My friend and I were in the area to attend the Final Four Basketball tournament. I'd had looked for a non chain breakfast restaurant and found S&H. We ate here twice and by golly it was pure greatness both times. From the great service to the fresh from the kitchen food, we had no complaints. On one visit, I had the spinach and shrimp omelet and pal had corned beef hash with with eggs and potatoes. They have daily breakfast specials and a build your own lunch with many options to build your meal. The prices prices were reasonable table turnover was good for weekend breakfast. I'll be happy to go back whenever I might be in Slidell.

This is a small hometown Cafe that offers a large breakfast for very low prices. As a frequent traveler, I regularly look for gems like this place; and I am so happy that I found this one!One of the reviews that I read said "To Drive For" and there isn't a more accurate phrase to describe this small Cafe with huge flavor! If you are within an hour drive of this Cafe, this is a MUST visit for any foodie or someone looking for a great breakfast!
Just EXCELLENT! Top quality food with service to match. We were visiting family from the PNW and they brought us to their FAVORITE breakfast place, we now understand why! What a great family friendly eatery with your classic dishes, served with a smile and care! We shall return!
This is a little hole in the wall in slidell la and I highly recommend if your ever in the area you must stop in they never disappoint
I like the fact it’s an older style restaurant, no paved driveway and it not fancy inside! The food was excellent! Cheap price aswell, a little over $20 for two people!
I have ordered several times now from Heidi's catering menu and have never been disappointed! Her finger sandwiches are great, I do request crust off, her chicken alfredo pasta, deviled eggs, vegetable and fruit trays are all made fresh and are delicious! I'm actually ordering more of these things today for a party this weekend for my daughter! :)
Perfectly cooked corned beef hash with overeasy eggs with home fries. Other plate were French toast, can't mess these. Great staff, prompt service with a smile. Bottomless coffee. Total was 15.00 highly recommend. Ease access from I 10, about 1.5 miles.
