I went around 9pm on a weekday and all the tables were full. Waitress seems surprised I wanted to make a takeout order. Bar area was very cluttered. I ordered a burger, bacon wrapped porkchop, and the scallops. The wait was about 35 mins. I tried to call over the phone to avoid the wait but the phone lines were busy. When the food was ready, they informed me they didn't have the scallops. They could make something else or issue a refund. Having already waited 35 mins, I didn't feel like waiting any longer. This review is 4 stars because that bacon wrapped pork chop was delicious though. Amazingly tender. Anything wrapped in bacon is usually amazing but this was elevated. It sat on a bed of really smooth sweet potato souffle. From time to time hidden in the stuffed pork chop you get bits of spiced apple. Amazing.

It was my first time coming here and I came for my brothers birthday… the server Ralph was amazing very attentive and helpful❤️ But my family had ordered 4 steaks and they told us that they were going to be right on the way…. About 20 minutes later a couple came in and ordered…. within 10 minutes of them being there our sever came out and told us that we couldn’t have all the steaks we ordered….. 5 minutes after that the couple was served 2 steaks (keep in mind they came 20 minutes after us)… 10 minutes after that we finally got our food… my brother in law got and pan cooked fish and it was super dark the vegetables were charred and hard me and my sister had pasta with blackened chicken….my noodles were burnt for some reason and the taste was completely off…… and to top it all off the owner was cooking?

Great local bar with amazing food and service Brandy the bartender was very friendly and attentive I definitely suggest sitting at the bar and dining with herd

The restaurant is quiet, and lovely inside. The staff is friendly and helpful but not over the top about it. The menu changes a lot - there are some stallwarts, like the shrimp and oysters rustica, the sandwiches and the steaks, but other dishes come and go and it's always a treat to try some of the new items. I had a stuffed drum for dinner last night that was absolutely perfect - crispy but moist inside, not at all dry, with flavorful stuffing and sauce and just-right tenderness for the vegetables. My husband and I treat ourselves to this place monthly, and it's our go-to for a date night.

First time to Steak night the food was really good and the value even better! We will be back.

We drove from Mandeville and arrived 45 minutes before closing during steak night. With two open tables in plain view, we were told we could only be seated if we had reservations. Nowhere on the post on Facebook does there say a reservation was needed. Had there been that warning, then we would have done. Poor service. Will not make the drive again.

Nice atmosphere, lovey staff great for before dinner cocktails as food service doesn't start till 5pm. The menu looked good . I have plans to try it soon. We were on a tight schedule so we didn't eat there this time. The staff was very nice though. I loved the bar area its set up was very well thought out. Loved the high tops.

Went to the restaurant for brunch staff needs to check the restroom regularly. Ladies restroom had urine on floor and all over toilet seat. Need to offer toilet seat liners if staff is not going to regularly check and clean restroom. Staff was very friendly. Service and food were adequate.

Good food , great service ! Family friendly ! Loved having Sunday brunch with my family ! Mimosas were the best

Great house wines and creole food. Eggplant Nepoleon was excellent! Veal Osso Bucco wasn't bad, but unremarkable for the price. Cajun Trio appetizers were wonderful and the staff was friendly and awesome! We will definitely be back!
