I thought that this would be a neat place for lunch, and I could get a real ice cream soda. Nothing could be further from those expectations. My wife ordered a cheeseburger: the cheese was shredded cheese. That's not a cheeseburger. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which I suspect was pulled pork bought from a grocery store and heated up. If they can't do sandwiches any better than this, I would say ditch the sandwiches. When I ordered a vanilla ice cream soda, I was asked if I wanted nectar or coke or Dr. Pepper, etc. Ice cream with soda pop is a float not an ice cream soda which is made with soda water and vanilla flavoring. The young ladies behind the counter were clueless about what I wanted and could not explain what nectar was. I settled for a root beer float, which was OK, but not what I really wanted. So, it was a disappointing meal all around. Maybe just go for the ice cream and skip the sandwiches.
Always fun to visit here. Enjoyed the chili cheese fries today and a soda. Chili was so good Dad took some home. Friendly faces and great atmosphere
Food was pretty good I ordered ice cream but there was this teenage girl that kept arguing with her coworkers and being rude to the others. I may have heard her name was Ashley. Even when I sat down I could hear this short girl talking with an attitude. She would complain about her arm hurting and walked around looking lost. Every other person was doing their job but this short girl was being loud and unhelpful!!!
I walked into the shop, place looks very nice and retro. I ordered burgers and fries and they came out at a good time, but as I was eating I heard this girl constantly complaining and talking too much instead of focusing on her work. She looked very clueless, like she had no idea how to make the stuff. She looked like an underage 12 year old, small, and bratty. She had an attitude when she talked to her coworkers, and she still had a slight attitude while talking to the customers. I saw her on her phone a lot, talking and gossiping around. I got very annoyed and left, will not be returning.
Atmosphere great. The employees appeared a bit new, but friendly. Prices were a bit more than we planned, but good portuon size and tasted good.
Food took forever. They brought mine out cold. My grandson had to wait another 20 minutes. When it did come out his chicken tenders had ketchup on them. Not sure why. This place is cute but needs a lot of help. No grown ups here. Looked like kids running the whole place. I will not be back
I've been going to the soda shop for years ever since I was a kid. When I heard it was getting new owners I was hoping that the place would not change. It did change... for the better. The new owners are nice and I think the place looks cleaner and feels like it has a more friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Staff was supee great and the shop vibe is very comfortable and homey. We go there frequently and are always met with kindness. Icecream is great too!
Cute place, few games were broken. Had newer pin ball machines. Pretty pricy. $8 for an ice cream float
Great atmosphere! kid friendly and I personally laid the Turf on the putt putt course so it's legit!
