Excellent Southern food with good friendly service . We had lunch and everything was good and tasty. Our Server was very friendly amd made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back .
We ordered the gator bites, charbroiled oysters, red beans and rice, and Nola Burger. We ordered take it take it and everything was pretty good. It was definitely better than previous times we have ordered here.
Had the artichokes dip with crab meat added. A little salty but good and hot. Then had the gumbo that was really good. Spicy and hot. My wife had the corn and shrimp bisque. She loved it. We then had the Raw oysters followed by oysters grilled with a parmigiana and butter sauce. We were in heaven. My wife had the voodoo drink and I had a light beer. Wife loved the BIG drink. We than split the dessert of bread pudding with a praline sauce topping. What a meal. It came to $109.00 plus tip. The waitress was pleasant and a sweetheart.
My brother ordered from here on door dash. Total was 31.00 and change. The brownie was suppose to be layered homemade brownie with ice cream whip cream and cherries nuts and caramel and chocolate drizzle. The shrimp were supposed to be gulf shrimp tossed in zydeco sauce and it was on the side cold and firm.
Great food. Went for oysters and they were out. We got the gator bites, chicken parm, phenomenal shrimp tacos, and seafood pasta. All was delicious. The server was very friendly and made delicious drinks. We will be back. We haven't been disappointed with the service, food, or drinks yet.
My corn bisque soup was really good I had a Long Island iced tea it was very strong did not like it at all my son said the pasta lacked in flavor.
Drove into Slidell today from Atlanta, GA. We were certainly ready to eat when we arrived in town. I had grilled redfish and Hubs had Shrimp étouffée and a side salad. Everything was wonderful! The have a pooch-friendly patio where we ate. The only disappointment is that I thought I’d read they had a gluten free menu, but they don’t. That was my bad, as I seemed to mix up info from two different restaurants in my inquiries. But the chef was able to suggest safe dinner options for me that were wonderful. Thank you, Chef!
