Food was very old and burnt. Terrible customer service will never eat here again. I returned the food for a refund and the owner didn’t an apology or anything. She slapped my money in window and walked off.
Mr. Joe always provides hot & fresh food free of MSG. They cook made to order and are quick and efficient! The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty good! The food is always good here, in my opinion, & really hit the spot tonight just before the parade! It is now take out only due to covid safety protocols, but they've made some neat accommodations to help keep everyone safe while remaining in business. There is a walk up window style setup complete with retractable drawers for your food and money retrieval. They've even got a very creative way for you to slide your card into the chip reader for card payments!
My wife got egg drop soup, it wasn't good, the rice wasn't cooked all the way, and her tho chicken was dry. My meal of sweet and sour chicken was alright, my rice was the same way, and my hot and sour soup needed more seasoning ( hot sauce)

Mr Joe is a more economical option for Chinese takeout in Slidell, but the portions are generous for the price and I don't tire of having their food as leftovers for work meals. They do what they do well. I'll keep coming back.
By far the worst Chinese I have ever had!!! Severely overcooked outside with a “mashed potato” like substance on the inside and hardly any chicken!! “Fried rice” was hard and dry. Egg rolls must have been 6 days old. Staff could care less
Great Chinese food. I enjoy sweet and sour chicken and pepper steak from here. Lunch is their special which is cheaper.
Your average Chinese takeout fare. My experience has been the quality of food has gone down over the last few years. Egg rolls have been greasy on most occasions (whether you order in person or call in). Recommend go with chicken or shrimp items as the beef on the last few occasions has been fatty and a chewy. Just remember to ask if you want Soy, Mustard, or Duck Sauce they don't automatically drop some in. The orange chicken is always good. Shrimp friend rice is good. White rice tends to be very gooey. We go since it is the closest. If you are hungry it will fill you up, but not necessarily bragging about how good it was. Probably start to venture a bit further see if any others in town have better quality.
