There is no way this place has a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I don't believe it. Normally when I eat somewhere and the food was not great, I just don't eat there again. This place charged a lot of money and the food was absolutely disgusting. One of the dishes was not even edible. The stuffed crab had shells in it and it about broke my tooth. The taste was bland and it was mushy. The salad my wife ordered was old and mushy and tasted odd. The thin catfish was kind of strange. It is a very thin piece of catfish meat that is fried. It wasn't good. I love catfish, but that is a terrible idea. The shrimp was OK, but again it was bland. The appetizer was mushrooms. They were served with what tasted like stove top dressing. It didn't taste bad, but it looked gross. Three dishes and an appetizer ran 90 dollars. I would have expected it to taste like a chef cooked and made it. It was like eating old leftovers warmed up in a microwave. The staff was friendly, though.

Great food and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stopped here with over 90 ladies and they all left happy and smiling. Thank you Winifred for always being so responsive and making sure that our experience was great…we will definitely be back!

1st and last time to visit. April 22nd, 2022 Friday at 11am. Photos and review all inclusive. Our servers name was "Belle". She was a great waitress and took good care of us. We ordered shrimp remoulade, broiled shrimp, shrimp and crab gumbo, italian oysters, cole slaw, hush puppies, french fries, a bloody mary and water. The bloody mary was ok but could'nt taste the vodka. The food was not great. Some of the food items looked and tasted frozen especially the shrimp remoulade. The tiny shrimp served on a bed of lettuce smothered in remoulade sauce were frozen not fresh. The remoulade was sub par. One of the worst gumbos we have ever had. The flavor of the gumbo did not truly represent what a great gumbo should taste like. The broiled shrimp were bigger than the remoulade shrimp. They seemed to be tastier as well but not seasoned so great. The Italian oysters...weird flavor and weird presentation. They were served with no half shell which creates a flavor problem and were served on a platter similar to a muffin tray/pan. The Italian oysters were overpowered by the doughy bread crumbs leaving the parmesan cheese flavorless. The hushpuppies had little to no seasoning. The cole slaw was colorless and tasted like diced cabbage with some type of oil(maybe cheap mayo). The fries were nothing special they were unseasoned. In summary....all of the food items we ordered were not seasoned well and they all had sub par appearance. The male and female bathrooms were nice and clean during our visit. There is inside and outside seating. There is handicapped parking and the parking lot is huge. The restaurant is nice, inside and outside. The bar and decor are great too with a steam punk fused with a rustic kind of feel. Our bill was $67 with tip.

Our waiter Zach was AMAZEBALLS!!! I wanted to take him home. Excellent choices and the food is so fresh… 5⭐️ all around from food to service. Wish there was one in Philly.

Great place ,Great food , will come back.

There is absolutely no establishment that can prepare and serve a better thin fried catfish plate. The moment Ms Wenn greeted us at the door, looking at the beautiful interior, I felt this place would be as good...if not better than there original Manchac location. And I was correct. The portions were perfect without being obnoxious. The service staff gave just the right amount to be attentive, without being bothersome. We had a wonderful eating experience. Thank you Wenn, and your team.

First time at this location, but it's just as good as the other one. We all ate the thin fried catfish. It was perfect as always. The in large plate is plenty for most.

Service was Awesome, our server Zach was very efficient and well mannered, non stop service, knowledgeable of menu. THE FOOD HOWEVER WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING, PRESDNTED WELL & EYE APPEALING BUT TASTE WAS PRETTY BAD, ESPECIALLY THE OVER STUFFED CRAB, STUFFED WITH TASTELESS DRY BREAD AND SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT CRAB, MIXED SO TIGHT YOU CO U LD HARDLY PIERCE IT WITH A FORK-- HAD TO COVER WITH TARTAR SAUCE TO ACHIEVE TASTE AND MAKE MOIST THUS GIVE SOME SORT OF FLAVOR.!.THE FRENCH FRIES WERE COLD & PITIFUL, VERY SMALL PIECES, HARD/ TOUGH, SEEMED HOURS OLD. THE HUSH PUPPIES were also alittle TIGHT--OVER MIXED,CHEWY. SORRY TO SAY I HAVE DINED AT THE ESTABLISHMENT for years and have brought guests here to eat seafood. BUT I WOULD BE TOO EMBARRASSED TO BRING ANYONE HERE UNLESS THE KITCHEN RE-WORKs THEIR RECIPE FOR SOME OF THE DISHES OR TEMPORARILY REMOVE THEM OFF MENU...TRUE YOU WILL SEE THAT THE PRESENTATION of the food looks very Eye-Appealing BUT that's as far as it goes..TASTE is beyond DISSAPOINTING & Costly to the dinning guests...I Know prices are high for Crab meat, but TAKE it off menu UNTIL it's worth some flavor..The Thin Fried Fish is Still a Classic. Very Good. FLAVORFUL BATTER N SPICES. The coleslaw is still tasty too. *SEE pics of EYE APPEALING Entrées on some of the dishes BUT beware of lack of taste. HOPE NEXT VISIT WILL YIELD MORE THAN 2 * STARS

The food had NO flavor whatsoever!! I don’t even think they use salt. They did have season on the table but they should keep it in the kitchen. If you are on a no salt diet, this is the perfect place for you!! If you want good fried seafood, don’t eat here!!

Wonderful food and wonderful service!
