Wow! What great people we met today! These guys helped my friend with her car that was overheating with no questions asked! By the time my husband and I got there,they had already figured out the problem and had her almost ready to go! They wouldn't except any money, just our thanks and then gave us donuts to take home to our family. Such genuine,sweet, guys. Thank you so much for being kind ! You will forever have our business!
Let me begin by praising not only the owner but his family as well. After my car began to overheat I pulled over and walked into the store to purchase water when the owner offered for me to pull up to the front door and he would take a look. In the pouring rain this gentleman, his father (who drove from his home to bring tools) and his Uncle not only fixed my car but refused to take any money and sent us off with delicious donuts on the house. How very lucky I am to have met these gentlemen with such good hearts. I am so very thankful!!! You will DEFINITELY have our business for years to come!
Went for a visit on yesterday morning , doughnuts were fresh and delicious.The owner and his worker are very nice and respectful.
What is the point of closing at noon if you have only 20% of your donut case left at 8am? Lived in Slidell years ago and hated how there was never any good donut places. Drove in town today for a visit and was excited to see this place with great reviews. I've never seen 5 kids so depressed in a donut shop. Would not recommend if you want a large quantity, like 1 dozen. But if you want just 1 maybe 2, you may be ok with it.
Customer service was phenomenal and so were the donuts!! The gentleman that helped me was so nice and beyond helpful! Will definitely be going here again!!-Julia
We absolutely love this place. All their donuts are great but we chose their Buttermilk Drops today. Lawd have mercy, shout it from the roof tops, SO good. If you can get there before they run out of the red velvet buttermilk drops you won't want to leave. Excellentae!
Two times I’ve gone by, they were not open at the time it says they are (4am) the first time, they were 15 mins late opening the store and the donuts weren’t impressive. I decided to try again because it was the only place open so early…well they were not open, yet again nor did they answer the phone. Defenitely miss George’s!!
Awesome place and people! We always try to come when we can. They’re sanitary and extremely nice! We came near closing and we were gonna buy the rest of the donuts they had left and they gave it to us for free. Very down to earth people! Love coming here!
Ordered from Waitr, got a call from them just to let me know, that what I ordered they didn't have at point in time, offered many other options being very kind and apologetic the whole time. I would highly recommend going here! And would order from again!
What’s most upsetting about writing this review is that I’ve tried multiple visits to see if anything would change. I’ll start with the owners/workers, no one has ever greeted me when I’ve entered here. They usually are having side conversations with what seems to be their friend, but they don’t acknowledge the customer. Even if I’m standing in front of the counter. Horrible customer service. Secondly, you can walk in and they have no selection. The more heavy set male always claims they are “running low” on things. Seems to be the case every single time I’ve visited. Thirdly, the doughnuts don’t taste good. Always cold, no taste, hard and I’ve even purchased their buttermilk drops. Needless to say they aren’t that good. Horrible replacement for George’s. Don’t read the good reviews, visit and get let down. Save your money and visit a different shop.
