The vibe from a few customers was unsettling, but I can't put that on the restaurant.SERVICE (1 star for original waiter, 4 star for management): The waiter is the reason for the low rating. He was rushing us. Yes, we knew they closed at 10 and arrived at 9:10, but that doesn't excuse his service. The first thing out my mouth was that I wanted to order the seafood nachos. The rest of my party placed an order for boudin balls. We received boudin balls and a spinach artichoke dip, but no seafood nachos. We didn't even order the dip, but decided to keep it because...again...the waiter was rushing and we didn't want to be an inconvenience. The last straw was us trying to flag him down and having to clap and wave our hands to get noticed as he walked RIGHT past our table. If you're racist and upset you have a bald spot in the middle of your head, just say that. Don't ruin our time in Slidell with your negativity. The Assistant Manager and other staff went above and beyond to make it right. We felt comfortable and were satisfied by how apologetic they were, but still, the waiter himself was the issue.FOOD (4 Star): The seafood nachos were very good and the fruit punch. Probably the only thing we'd order from them while in town. The boudin balls I didn't taste, but was told they were just ok. The dip was too soupy and thin, but good and the bowtie was different. My son loved them. The loaded seafood scampi was decent as well. It came with a crawfish (seasoned wonderfully) and a few shrimps, but barely any crab meat. I'd order the boiled crawfish and seafood nachos. Very good!!!

We had bacon wrapped shrimp, charbroiled oysters, blackened tuna and chicken Alfredo for my non-seafood loving husband. The service was great, the food was delicious with lots of great choices, and the atmosphere was relaxing though a bit dark inside. There is outdoor seating but we opted for indoor.

Superb !Today was my first visit to fatty's following a recommendation from my hotel front desk ! And it was definitely worth the time. Very welcoming atmosphere, high ceilings, not super crowded, about 80% occupancy as expected midweek... I ordered endless blackened catfish and shrimps, came perfectly seared and juicy, very good job ! And also a very helpful and friendly staff, thumbs up. I will be back :)

Working from out of state... I had such high hopes. I ordered the Seafood Gumbo, for starters, with shrimp, crab meat and okra. I didn't see any shrimp, okra or crab, but it did taste good. I also ordered the shrimp boil with sausage. On the positive side, it was servered quickly and it did have a good kick to it, but the shrimp turned to mush peeling them, which tells me it had been over cooked and probably sitting all day. The only reason for the 2 stars was that the bartender was very nice and friendly. I definitely won't be returning here.

I ordered the seafood nachos to go.The waitress was very polite. The Nachos looked burnt and fried in old grease.the cheese was so thick I thought it was POTATO SALAD I could not pour it on the Nachos. The shrimp and crab meat was greasy and look like a spoon full in the Container. For 15.00 it was not worth the money I was very disappointed and won't be ordering that again.

We order the seafood nachos and the shrimp wrap with sweet potatoes fry’s it was delicious the service was good see y’all next time

Wonderful Food's, I had The Fatty Melt on the Freshest Sourdough Bun I've ever Tasted. My Son had the Crab Sandwich, we both had the sweet potato fries, Excellent Food's, Excellent Service.. ? ? ?

Service was great and friendly. The food....extremely well cooked. It was hot and flavorful. I had the stuffed peppers with crab stuffing and my lord it was delicious. Good eats and good atmosphere

Food looks pretty good but it was so SALTY & greasy. I mean I know the place is called Fattys but we weren’t able to eat the meals at all.The oysters& crab cakes were decent and our waiter was very nice but we found a cockroach in our booth and left… very disappointing

Me and the wife a dozen charbroiled oysters which was very good a little bit more butter for bread soaking would have been ideal but not complaining. We both had a cup of seafood gumbo and the base was very good couple frozen shrimp, but it wasn't bad.My wife ordered the crab cakes, deep fried in flour like country fried steak internally was decent. But my most disappointing aspect of the entire meal was my bell pepper plate. The bell pepper stuffing was not tasty at all no seasoning whatsoever. The pasta was pretty good with the sauce that goes on it. I think I'll stick with the seafood nachos from now on.Oh and definitely bring a jacket if you don't like cold.
