Definitely a good place to eat, the food is simple and tastes good, service is good. The buffet is the same price as most of the menu which is a little odd to me, but hey, its all you can eat and its good.

Even though they were out of a few items for the seafood platter we ordered them anyways because they were supposed to substitute for the missing hush puppies and crab cakes. This was the soggiest plate ever! Fish soggy n oysters soggy! Shrimp soggy! French fries could've been mashed potatoes! Everything was fried really dark! I haven't eaten here in over 10 years and I definitely won't be back! A waste of 50$ for sure!
The service stated out Ok at first. As we went 2 order we was told of several items they were out of. When ordering my friend asked what all came in the seafood omelet . The server said shrimp & crab meat.... My friend said they would like cheese in the omelet. Server commented "OH you'll get cheese". When the I placed my order I ordered stuffed French toast. Sounds so dreamy... I also added a side of bacon .(soft). When the food came out my bacon was burnt ! So crisp that upon touching the bacon it disintegrated. The stuffed French toast was awful. The fruit was old looking & the cream was puddin!! Puddin out of a can!! My friends omelet had bell peppers all inside of the omelet. We called the server over 2 our table 2 address the omelet she had nothing 2 say ... I tried 2 tell her about my bacon , that I was very unsatisfied. The server just kept on walking. Never not one time spoke of my I get u something else , or I'm sorry .... Nothing just kept on walking!!! I will NEVER RETURN to eat here . I never leave reviews of rude or such unhappiness wit all but I do believe this place has & could do so much better with service & food. I'm very disappointed & sorry I had 2 b the 1 to write such truth & hole things change & that I am able 2 give this restaurant another chance.
You will not want to miss dining here! Small, quaint and loved by the locals. We went thru Slidell on a Friday morning and had late breakfast. Food was perfect and large servings for a fair price. Very clean, very welcoming. Staff was so pleasant and answered our questions about the area and directed us right to where we needed to go. You will not want to miss the chance to eat here. Highly recommend!
Great service, the food was good, but they could spend just a little more time on quality rather than quantity.
Food is good and price are fair, gave four star because when taking a buffet to go, they limited you to two sides a meat and a soup or dessert, I should be able to load my plate up seeing as it supposed to be a "buffet" and im paying for the buffet price, plus it's to go so I'm only going to get what I leave with. It should be as much as I can fit on a plate
THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!That's the only way I can start this review. Camellia Cafe food, service, and ambiance are top rate. Also did I mention,THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!!Get down here and try it yourself.

Great place to stop for a quick bite. Food was great and cheap! Staff was friendly and attentive, place looked clean.They have a breakfast buffet, which was awesome!I recommend
