This place was better than expected and the best part is that it is literally within walking distance of my home! Customer service was second to none, place was very clean and well kept and the absolute best part of it all was the food!!! Very tasteful, fulfilling and more than enough to go around. They really took care of us!!! Highly recommended! Great menu! Great service!
Great tasting southern cuisine. Got the hot sausage poboy, the shrimp on bun, and loaded fries. All were so delicious. First time having fried pickles and they delicious also. Can't wait to go back and try more items.
Delicious. Reasonable priced meal. Local business. I had the Shrimp ? and Grits with croissant for dinner and for dessert Strawberry ? waffle ... Scrumptious! Definitely we'll be back!
Found this spot and very happy to report breakfast was awesomely delicious. Mom said her eggs were perfect, the sausage full of spicy flavor. Daughter had French toast- the plate was left empty. And I had a chicken Caesar wrap that was tasty and unexpected. I went through three glasses of sweet tea - I’d bottle that and sell it in texas and make myself a millionaire. Very sweet waitress, attentive, and knowledgeable. As my mom stuffed the last piece of French toast in her mouth she said she’s ready to come back. Also she wanted to steal the cook so they could teach the folks at ihop how to cook her eggs.
I don’t even know what to say. This was THE BEST breakfast I’ve ever eaten from a restaurant. It tasted just like a Saturday morning at my grandma’s house. Service was great, staff was nice & friendly, establishment was clean. I don’t understand why the place wasn’t packed. A wonderful secret that everyone needs to know about.
Today was the first time my husband and I visited Big Mama's County Kitchen here in Slidell, La. The customer service was ?. We could sit wherever we wanted. The young man came immediately over and took our drinks and food orders. He didn't rush us by it being our first time, and he kept our drinks coming because it was so hot outside. We ordered the Big Mama's Fries ( it had two kinds of cheese, bacon and I think parley) Soooo darn good, you don't even think you're eating french fries. My husband had the fish plate with fries, salad and toast. He said it was delicious ?. I had a peanut butter waffle with whip cream on top and some fruit on the side. Delicious ?. I also ordered the Big Mama's Pasta that had chicken, smoke sausage and shrimp. I tell you you won't go home hungry because they don't serve you skimpy plates. I took home a piece of the almond cake and it also was delicious ?. Y'all have to go check this place out for yourselves and I garentee you won't be disappointed and the prices are well worth it. Very Affordable and Great Food ?
We were traveling and stopped to have breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Would definitely eat here again! Great experience!
The food here is so delicious it just makes you happy! It’s home cooked meals and the flavors are wildly awesome! I will eat here every chance I get. And the service makes you feel like your at home. This is literally my favorite restaurant
The shrimp and grits were seasoned to perfection. The vegetable omelet and French toast, delicious.Well worth the wait. I'm giving them four stars only because of the wait.
I had lunch today with a few people from work. I tried the seafood gumbo and shrimp poboy. This was the best seafood gumbo I have had in years! Perfect spice, sausage, shrimp and a big ole crab claw. The shrimp poboy was over stuffed with huge shrimp. Mamma came out and talked to us along with her daughter and they were a delight to meet. This place os a gem!! Make sure you try them out as you will be very impressed! This will be my go to place!!
