Love this place. The food is wonderful. The staff is friendly. Great little restaurant.
Great atmosphere and better food!
Most consistent restaurant ever. They never cease to impress. Atmosphere is romantic and cozy. The waiters, bus staff and bartenders are super friendly and pay attention to detail. Always a fun and family oriented place to dine. Everything on the menu is fantastic. I always recommend a soft shell crab and Heather shells. If you haven’t dined at Assunta’s what are you waiting for?Always remember that restaurants can’t be responsible for takeout when using GrubHub or those type services. I recommend dining in or picking it up yourself. Cheers
I am not from Slidell so I found the restaurant on TripAdvisor. I ordered it to be delivered to my hotel. From the moment I was handed my food, I could smell how good it was going to be. I was WRONG. It was WAY better than that. Do yourself a favor and stop here. It’s worth every bite.
We visited for our first time and it was our anniversary. Staff was very nice. Service was prompt. Food was good! Trying to think of the name of the drink I had from the bar... but it was pretty good as well. We'll be back.
The food was delicious and the service was flawless. These folks make you feel like family with an upscale ambiance that would be great for business meetings and family dinners alike.
Atmosphere was comfortable, server was friendly and knowledgeable, food was prompt and tasty, for the price I felt the presentation could have been stepped up a notch.
After wanting to try this place for a while and after reading the raving reviews, we are super disappointed. We picked food up to go tonight. My boyfriends portion of veal was pitiful for the price. I got shrimp pasta, the pasta was over cooked and gummy. The dish had zero flavor and about 5 shrimp. Even the side salad was skimpy. Needless to say after 50 bucks wasted we won't be back. I couldn't even eat mine due to no flavor.
This was my first time. The food was very good! Everything was very fresh! Service was great as well! It's also nice to see the owner is there and getting to talk with her.
This is place is unbelievably good! The food was outstanding. The service was some of the best service I have ever had! Brittany, our waitress, was so nice and very patient. We ordered based on her recommendations and could not have been happier. I can not believe I had never heard of this place.
