I've been eating at trejo's restaurants since the mid 80s at the original bottom of the barksdale bridge.I will say the cheese enchiladas aren't quite as big or good as they used to be years ago but they are still the best cheese enchiladas in The ArkLaTex.I usually stop at this one for a light lunch on my way home and as usual extremely fast friendly service and the consistency is always the same with the hot sauce and these cheese enchiladas.
My family and I go to Trejos at least twice a month for lunch! We have gotten to know a few of the people who work there and absolutely love seeing their faces when we go in! The food is always delicious, hot and ready fast! You can't beat the family friendly environment or the prices!
This is my favorite for Mexican Food!I have not had anything here I have not liked or ordered again.Recently, my favorite is the Bistec Mexican (I'm probably typing it wrong) it's #16 on the Dinner Menu.Lots of steak, jalapeno & onion strips covered in a spicy read sauce, served with tortillas, beans, & rice plus a side of sour cream.Excellent frozen margaritas. Fast & Friendly Service.
Great friendly staff, food is always delicious... We always enjoy our lunch or dinner..
Did love this restaurant went to it all the time but will not be back they put our cooked food on a dirty table and then tried to serve it to us will not be back to this Trejo's again
My husband and I just returned from a dinner at Trejos and will not be going back. We had take-out during COVID from them and it was really inferior to the quality of food we were used to getting from them. So tonight was an exploratory trip to see if the food was still bad or had they improved. We both had the enchilada combination, I had chicken, my husband had fajita steak. Everything was bland - salsa, rice, beans and meat. The only thing that had any taste was the red sauce topping and that was not good - It tasted like straight tomato paste, a very concentrated tomato taste with no other flavors. They did not have the draft beer that my husband wanted, but the Dos Equis Amber in a bottle was very cold and good. Needless to say, we will not return , even though the restaurant is very close to our house and very convenient. But convenience will not win out over flavor.

It was wonderful as always. Went for lunch. Meet my mom & her friend on a Friday. They were busy like a lunch rush for Friday. They might have been short handed . There was one waitr on each side. So if you're trying to have a semi quick sit-down lunch. Well that wasn't that Friday. It took them sometime but everything came out great as usual.
Trejos in Blanchard is extreme expensive and poor quality and quantity of food. Don’t waste your time!
Their food is amazing I've eaten there so many times basically my whole life and the reason why your tea tastes so good is because of my mother it's her recipe my mother used to work at trejo's and she taught all the cooks and everybody how to make tea so that's why it's so much better now diabetic retinopathy then it was before thanks Mom
