Everyone working there was extremely nice. The rooms were very good. We attended an event while there also and the setting was fabulous. I highly recommend using the Remington for your stay and for your events.

My husband and I have traveled and stayed plenty of places but this is a precious gem that we will definitely be going back to. The staff were very professional and eager to help us in any way they could. The bar staff were amazing. Tyrek, John, El, and the other young lady who worked downstairs were amazing people. The room was exactly like what was promised. The atmosphere was terrific. Great for long stays or just a short getaway. Everything perfect! Very clean and quiet at night as well.

The complimentary breakfast advertised on the website consisted of store-bought breakfast sandwiches to microwave and cold cereal. And even those were not on offer on weekends, when the only in-house option was a so-so $25 per person buffet! Parking was $25 per day in a neighborhood with posted rates of $25 PER MONTH. There was shower gel but no hand soap in the bathroom! A lack of soft items in the large room and hallways made for echoes loud enough to wake me. The lights on the phone came on without reason. There were lots of minor maintenance problems in the room and throughout the property, including a door lock that had to be partly reassembled each time we opened the door and carpet in common areas that wasn’t vacuumed over the entirety of our one-week stay. The bed was the only upside -- new and comfortable.

Stayed here last week Thursday. I was in town for a wedding. Loved the hotel. I was in the Norman Rockwell suite. Clean, cozy, and loved the artwork throughout the room. Bed was super comfy and had lots of pillows. Everyone was nice. The only name I remember is Chris, the valet/bellhop. Nice guy. Breakfast? Ummm…pretty much cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and coffee. That could have definitely been better. At least add individually wrapped pastries maybe. But it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I grabbed a bowl of oatmeal, a banana, and coffee. Didn’t get a chance to book a spa appointment but, maybe next time. I’ll definitely be back.

If you want affordable luxury, look no further. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed & my wife wanted to look into weekly rates! She liked how it was upscale without being snobby. Maybe it's just me but I felt the history of the building while appreciating the updated decor. And the staff was 5 star as well.We booked through a 3rd party who got the reservation wrong. The manager acted quickly and even upgraded us & added a complimentary bottle of wine. We look forward to staying in the Van Gogh room next time.

Stayed in the Gainsboro suite! Pictures and words don't do it justice! Jennifer did my massage and Amy did my facial...I was a whole new woman when I walked out of there! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Adorable hotel ! If you’re an art lover , there’s the extra fun of the rooms being named after famous artists , and decorated with their artwork . We stayed in the Picasso . Besides his artwork , was also a big book of pictures and info about his life and work . (Next I want to stay in the Van Gough Suite.)

Went for a couples massage. The guy who did my massage was awesome. Best massage that I have had in my life. He knew exactly where my neck/shoulder issues were and focused on them perfectly. Really really great experience!

The inside of this building is very nice! The staff are also very friendly and prompt. It was a little confusing finding my way into the actual building but I managed after a walk around the block.

What a pleasant surprise. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the theater we were visiting. Our room was fabulous, the hotel is unique and charming and the staff was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel. Skip the corporate cookie cutter chains and visit some historic charm.
