Don't go here if you have a timetable to follow. We went at lunch, sat down at noon, and did not get our appetizer until 12:40. We tried to eat dine-in, but ended up having to ask for the food to-go because the lunch hour was up before we ever saw the food. It seems like a place to go when you're meeting friends and plan to spend an open-ended amount of time there. The food was alright, the prices were on the high end of reasonable, and the atmosphere was light and open. The drink menu was as large as the food menu, with fancy cocktails and a fairly large wine list. The waitstaff was very nice, but somewhat inattentive. Overall, I wouldn't choose to go here, but I also wouldn't be mad or refuse to go if someone else chose this place for dinner. One last note, they served the truffle fries in a bowl, but I think a platter or plate of some sort would be a better option. The truffle aioli only touches the top few fries, and the mound underneath doesn't get the sauce or cheese or basil topping. They're just fries after the first few bites.
This is a beautiful bar and lounge. The wine list was great. The bartenders made great cocktails. I wasn't that impressed with the food. They mostly offer sandwiches. The sammies were big portions and messy to eat, yet dry at the same time?... They seemed to be out of a lot that I picked to order. I settled on my 5th choice. I would definitely return for drinks, but maybe after dinner.
Looks can be deceiving. Food presentation was great but once we cut in to the bone in pork chop, it was raw. Same with the steak au poivre. We showed the waitress and she took them back to be re-fired. When she brought them back they were still the same. We decided just to take it home and call it what it was, UNDER COOKED food and reheat when we got home. The waitress noticed that we did not eat it and she asked again if something was wrong. We showed her again that it was not cooked through. She offered to take it back again for a second time. We declined and asked to see the manager. The manager came out and we explained that the food was raw and he argued that it was normal for pork chops to have blood in it. Then offered us drinks on the house. We declined that because we are non drinkers. The manager was very rude and said he would comp our meal and just snatched everything away off our table. We weren’t looking for a free meal just wanted it to be better for the next customer.
GREAT SERVICE GREAT FOOD!
Came here in my birthday specifically for the drinks and they definitely didn’t disappoint. My first stop of the night our bartender was so friendly definitely going to come back to try the food.
Everything, from delicious food created by a very talented kitchen staff, to consistently outstanding service from the front of the house staff.
We were very excited about trying this place and we quickly disappointed. We were sat at the bar (which is fine) and it took a very very long time for someone to address us and bar tenders refused to make eye contact for an opportunity for us to order. NYC sour Was non drinkable, and i usually enjoy a drink of that style. No one in the restaurant had their food after we sat for 30 mins. We Paid for the drinks and left. The environment and concept is very cool! I hope the best for this place.
We had such high hopes for this place. The pictures posted and reviews so far have been amazing. Sad to say we did not have that experience. From the worst table RIGHT behind the hostess desk to SLOW drinks, SLOW food. To top it off the entrees were ice cold!! Management did remove our entrees from our bill but barely apologized for the issues. They have some work to do if they are going to be successful! Pictured are the truffle fries, steak Oscar and steak au proivre.
we had appetizers and drinks! Great service and very nice atmosphere!
I ordered the bone-in pork chop and it was delicious. The ombiance was great. Highly recommended.
