Absolutely amazing. I could not make up my mind and decided to order the Cajun sampler and it did not disappoint! It was too much food for me to finish. Great atmosphere and service too!
I really wanted to love this place but it was just so-so. Appetizer and drinks were good but the etouffée lacked flavor or any kind of seasoning.
The service was good. The food was excellent, highly recommend the blind tiger drink.Catfish was crispy and flavorful. Wedge fries were wonderful. I was a little skeptical on the Cajun corn in the cob at first but was not disappointed with it.
Really good restaurant and really big portions. The food and the drinks were delicious. I had the blackened catfish and it was awesome. It came with 3 big fillets, fried corn on the cob, jambalaya and I got dirty rice for a dollar and some change more. The Long Island was good as well but could have been stronger. My only critique is they need to add an IPA on tap.
Lovely Historical bldg and great restaurant. Stopped in on a Saturday lunchtime on a gray and rainy day Mardi Gras weekend. Hit the bar for good Bloody Mary while waiting for a table. Service is quick and good. Mikey had Red beans and rice with sausage. He liked it!!! I had a cup of extraordinary Gumbeaux, followed by blackened catfish, dirty rice and corn on the cob, DEEP Fried. Dessert maybe next time. My new favorite place.
Absolutely delicious! Excellent and fast service! Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend. Wish we had visited again while in Shreveport.
Hiding in plain sight, The Blind Tiger, is our new favorite for food and drinks. 4 minute walk from Bally’s (El Dorado) through the safe, eclectic Red River District to sample fantastic fare Pecan Encrusted Catfish and Atchafalaya Chicken. Started with Voodoo Shrimp appetizer and wished I had ordered more to take home.
We came here on a Friday night while passing through on a road trip. We were seated right away around 6 p.m. Our waitress was excellent and our food was good - we split the sampler and also got the bread pudding. The only bad thing was a drunk patron sitting near us. But the waitress seemed to handle it in stride.
Great food and service! Definitely worth the long drive! We will come back when we are back in town.
Excellent place for authentic Cajun food. We loved the mush puppies, Cajun corn on the cob, and Voodoo Shrimp.
