We always enjoy having lunch at Superior Steak House. The service is top notch & the food is good! We all ordered the Friday lunch special which was delicious.
I was underwhelmed. No one was excited about their meal and I was disappointed in the whole food experience. Service was friendly and efficient and he took his time explaining the menu to us and making recommendations. But almost all the food was a missâ¦not one person at the table commented positively about anything on their plate. This was a business meeting and I was entertaining clients trying to give them a good time. I had been here before and remembered it as an excellent steakhouse with great steaks. I was eager to return, but based on this trip probably will not bring customers here again. I actually sent my steak back. Ordered a Pittsburg medium and got a True Pittsburg⦠so rare as to be cold in the middle. Soup was boring, one of my customers actually said that..salads were ok but nothing special although the 1000 Island dressing got some good comments from the table. Au grautin potatoes and sautéed spinach were tasted and forgotten. None of the 7 of us were interested in finishing either. The restaurant was clean. Coffee was good and the desserts were decent to good. Pecan pie was well received as was the chocolate cake. Bananas Foster was well presented but was one note and flat. Based on this experience, there are other choices in Shreveport for my money. Iâm sorry, I really was looking forward to that meal and had talked it up. Didnât give me what I expected this time.
Sara was great! She made a suggestion to us that made the world of difference to us w our steaks. Brussels sprouts were perfect! We enjoyed our meal more than usual last pm! Only neg is the noise level, but thatâs always been a thing there.
I have heard some great things about Superiorâs Steakhouse and decided to celebrate my wifeâs birthday there. We went on a Tuesday evening and had reservations for 7:45. We arrived at 7:30 and was immediately seated. The restaurant appears to be made up of two sides with the main entrance situated in between. One side there appears to be where they have live music and the other side has more of a traditional restaurant look. In my opinion the noise level was a little unbearable. You had live piano music playing on one side and recorded background music playing on the other. I would have either having to listen to one or the other, but having both going at the same time took away from the ambiance. My wife and I were seated on the recorded music side. The service was top notch and to me was what made our evening a nice one. My wife and I both had the aged ribeye steak. Our steaks were tender and cooked to our liking. For $75 each the steaks were rather bland. This review is not intended to discourage anyone from visiting. Everyone has their own taste and preferences. I plan to visit again and perhaps try something different on their menu. The service alone is enough for us to want to visit again!
Food was below par and I was sick most of the night after. The hostess both were unfriendly and basically didnât speak hardly at all almost like we were bothering them when we walked in. Our server was amazing but the food took a while to come out wasnât really hot and had no flavor. Do not get the charcoal oysters horrible basically just covered in butter and two of ours had something so hard almost broke my tooth twice. We have eaten here for years but this was just a good experience especially for the price!!
OUTSTANDING! The staff, waiters and atmosphere were all top notch. And the food was very good. I loved it!
Food fell way below our previous dining there. Lobster bisque was not even warm. Steak was tough. We have dined here previously with no problems. This time it was a disappointing meal. The only upbeat was an attentive server.
The best steaks we have eaten with amazing service!!!!
