You will not be disappointed, I am here at least one time a month, the cocktails are so good and the food is so so good, the shrimp and salsa are my favorite dish to order, the spinach quesadillas with beans and rice too are delish.
Ordered the lunch fajitas. There were literally 4 total pieces of meat. Chicken was dry, but the steak was tender and juicy, and as another reviewer has mentioned the veggies were warm and still crispy (not how I prefer my veggies for fajitas). Expensive for the very small amount of food you actually get ($18). (see photo). The chips and salsa were standard. The white queso wasn't anything to write home about. Overall not impressed.
My biggest complaint is the parking lot and walkways to the restaurant are very uneven and slope at different angles making it unsafe for older couples. I do like the food and the margaritas are top notch. However, there are some wait persons who will try to rush you and not let you enjoy your meal. Also the noise level is not good. So we have pretty much stopped going to this place.
Wow!! Just wow!! The meat was amazing! The tortillas were incredible. The chips were the bomb dot com.Do you want Mexican food? Is Superior Grill near by? You go to Superior Grill. Period. End of discussion. Their food was incredible.Really, go here. The margs are also the bomb diggity! Like, two margs in and I’m feeling them pretty heavy. Well done Superior. Well done.
Placed birthday reservations and experience was over the top. Filet and lobster tail were both done to perfection with absolutely no complaints. Patrick (waiter) was very attentive without being be over intrusive. Chris (manager) worked the floor and our table to ensure we had a wonderful evening. I would 100% recommend spending a special occasion here.
Reservation was for 6pm. 90% of party was there by 6:15pm. Didn't get seated to nearly an hr later. Seating was very tight and uncomfortable. Food I had was chicken enchiladas. They were ok, a little dry for my liking. Drink I had was a rum punch but didn't taste like any alcohol in it. Server was great!!
Been going there for 35 yrs. This last time, waiter could never be found, water glass filled once in 3 hrs. The food was far from premium. Campared to what it used be it was really not good. The onsite Management has a Far Superior attitude to his customers. He insisted that their food was the bomb but really, as a consumer of great food all over the USA and the world, I felt this food was average and the service was awful. I will never vist this place again
Multiple people told us we HAD to visit superior grill for their margaritas while we were in from out of town. Their margaritas had a very distinct taste, similar to cleaning supplies. It also came in a styrofoam cup. It was jam packed and our server made an odd amount of eye contact, enough that we closed out and went elsewhere. The food may be great, but we did not feel comfortable enough to stick around... Especially not with these margaritas.
Very small portions for a very large price.$17 nacho plate had 15 nachos. A bottle of beer is $5.50. The chimichanga for $17 was the smallest burrito I have ever been served at any restaurant. The two of us were not full at all for $50. The staff was really good though. It is not their fault.
We ate here before heading to a concert. We were on a schedule but made sure we had time to visit and have a casual, no rushed dinner. We had drinks and queso before ordering and great fajitas and tacos al carbon. The food was really good and the service was attentive without being intrusive. My wife was ready to drive back to Shreveport to eat there again the next day!
