The restaurant was crowded when we showed up and got seated quickly. I went during brunch time and decided to try their weekly lunch meals of the day. I was here on a Saturday and chose their fried chicken. You’re able to try the chicken fried steak instead. The waitress we had was nice and did her job well. The meal took long too get here though and wasn’t worth the wait. This tastes like a home cook meal. The chicken was a bit try but seasoned well. The side dishes were decently good too. Overall, I would likely try something else.

Nice and thoughtful servers. Breakfast is the way to go here. Try the strawberry pancakes or grilled biscuits or have a piece strawberry pie. The grill is the main cooking tool at one of the last hometown diners in the area. It's a family atmosphere and a nice place to bring the kids and grandparents. Pay at the front.

We were visiting from Florida and chose this restaurant to eat at. It was the most wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind and the food was excellent. Thank you guys so much!

I grew up eating at the original and have to say this place hit it right on the money with the food. It was a great lunch with a hometown dinner experience that is like no other. If you are passing though Shreveport, Shawn's is a must try!

Was staying in Bossier City on business. Looking for a good place to eat. This is a great place if you are looking for comfort food. Dinner was so good and the Strawberry Pie was unbelievable. Had to go back just for the pie. I will definitely go back.

Good breakfast, nothing spectacular. Two eggs over medium, sausage, grits, coffee. Eggs were a little under cooked, sausage was way over, grits were perfect. Good coffee. Service was good. But I think I prefer Waffle House.

The best diner here the owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home. It took awhile to get our food but I didn’t mind because of the atmosphere. Love ❤️ coming here for the home cooked meal.

Service was good and friendly. The two omelettes (veggie and egg whites) we ordered were pretty oily on the plates, hash browns were soggy. The pancakes at the other table looked good, will be back to try them or maybe Grench toast.

Great service and food came out fast. The omelette, biscuits and sausage were amazing. The potatoes were bland and so was the gravy.

Food was decent and services was good. They didn't have some item's . Price was average for 4 meals and 4 pies $65.00
