This was our first time going to Shogun. Our chef name was Big John and he was awesome. I wish I knew our waitress name but she was wonderful as well. Food and drinks were excellent and well worth it you definitely get your money worth
Great food! The chef was personable and professional. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. I had the garlic scallops; they were delicious!
Great food. The fried rice was on point. Steak cooked right, chicken and sushi good. We did order gyoza and didn't get it, but we had enough food and it didn't make it to the bill, so I didn't have heartburn with it. The chef was courteous & talented.
We love Shogun! Just the best! I believe it’s the longest standing hibachi in the Shreveport Bossier area and for that it gets mad respect, but there’s a reason it’s so legendary. It’s the excellent service and stellar quality of their meals. If your kids have never had the hibachi experience, let this be their first. It’ll set the standard of greatness for this style of restaurant for the rest of their lives. It’s a great place to make memories and to celebrate momentous occasions. With everything else in the culinary mix of this area, don’t do yourself a disservice and overlook this beautiful bedrock.
I love the food and service was great!However, I’m not too keen (happy) about having to pay $3/person for fried rice!!! I spent $15 for 5 people to have fried rice. It’s rather ridiculous “It’s on the menu…We don’t charge for our steamed rice.”
We had 8 people for hibachi and we had our own room which was nice. The cook was very good and funny, the food was great, staff was very attentive. Best salad dressing I've had at a Japanese restaurant! Chef did not use a ton of butter like some places. It was my son's birthday and the staff sang and presented a pineapple boat, it was awesome! We will be back.
I can only speak to the Hibachi but it is awesome. Its become a yearly visit for Birthdays and it never disappoints. I mean who doesn't love food and a show. Staff is friendly and interactive during cooking so you'll have a good time. Overall a definite choice if you want Hibachi.
Food and service were outstanding. They made our birthday night extra special. We had the hibachi filet, meat was very tender. Cooked perfect. Highly recommend going here for a great meal and great experience!
