PLEASE BEWARE! I travel for business year round and have for more than 20 years. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The worst part was taking my drivers license, copying it without permission, and not returning the copy when I checked out. I was told it was hotel policy in case of damages. In the morning, I told them I would gladly wait while my room was checked for damages, but insisted on getting it back. They refused. At first saying they did not return these copies, then saying it had been shredded last night. This made no sense. I further insisted on knowing what happened and where the copy was. At this point they threatened to call the police. I was not being confrontational so I was taken aback by this move. That being said, I certainly stayed to discuss it with the authorities. They told the officers the copy had been shredded. I did not believe this but agreed to leave. This was the most combative situation I’ve ever been confronted with at an IHG property. I’m a Diamond Elite with them and very loyal. However, this is making me consider changing hotel brands. Please understand, I do not want to be critical. I’ve never written a negative hotel review, but this is too much, too far. I have filed an official complaint with IHG, have a case number, and waiting to hear back.

Very undesirable location in what appears to be unsafe! Gates around hotel but an intoxicated or druggie man was hanging around outside. Receptionist was less than cordial, very abrupt! Room was very smelly, and had I not already traveled 600+ miles I would have walked out! NOT what I expect or accept as an IHG member! Room was updated cosmetically but odor was atrocious! Bed was comfortable is the only thing I found positive for this place but I will never stay there again and do NOT recommend

Hi my name is Eboni. I just left right now and the customer service I got was rude. I am not drivin here. I have a ESA dog and I was literally ran out of the hotel even know I paid for a room. Treated like a nasty person. Who are you do decide if my dog has to be ADA. Who taught you about what a service do is? I have a service dog certificate. And I was treated like crap. I am will put in lots of reviews on every website about being ran out of your hotel. And how bad you treated me. And as confident and rude as your sounded I am sure you have to be the manager. If not a nice one. I will not just stop here. Somene will hear about how terrible you are to me. It was hailing outside and you kicked me out the lobby. You told me over and over again how I needed to leave. And how we could not be in the building. I am sure you followed me out to make sure I left.

We booked this hotel on the Holiday Inn website. Although we had a confirmation from the hotel, when we arrived they had given our room away and there were no rooms left. The person at the front desk of the hotel refused to help us find another hotel. My husband and I are seniors. We called our son, who tried to speak with the lady at the front desk. She still refused to offer any assistance even though we had a confirmed reservation. Luckily, our grand daughter was able to find us a hotel near by without any help from the staff of the Holiday Inn. They were rude and said it was not their fault that the hotel was overbooked. And they refused to help. I would rate this hotel as a 0.

The website states they have a full breakfast and I even paid for the breakfast; however, when we got there the restaurant was closed and they still have not refunded me for the breakfast. They told us to go across the street and eat at their sister hotel. We walked over there to be told they couldn't serve us either. The rooms are run down and there is no ice machine. The hotel in general is just trash.

Quality of this hotel was very disappointing. It’s downtown location is great but there’s a train that runs directly behind the hotel, parking lot is cram packed together, and we were very fortunate the elevator didn’t quit on us trying to get out of that place. We checked out early.

I will never stay at this place again. Front desk lady was a complete B**** and charged us a $250 smocking fee when me nor my wife smoke. Tried to fight it and they just quit answering the phone. Called corporate and they did nothing also. It’s bull**** when you try to have a good vacation and it gets ruined by some trifling a** people. If i had smoked I wouldn’t have had a problem paying it. Sorriest place I’ve ever stayed.

Best Fried Pickles ? And Cold Beer ?

By far the worst stay with IHG I’ve ever experienced! First, we were overcharged and the price didn’t match what was sent via our confirmation. Second, the rooms are not the quality of other IHG hotels I’ve stayed at. Third, the overnight staff on Friday needs training on providing quality customer service no matter the time of morning and work on not falling asleep at the front desk during their shift. Last, if you want to sleep - this is not the hotel for you. Trains ran all times of the day. The worst is that the train ran at 3 and 4am and had the nerve to blow its horn?

I have given this review a 1 because there isn’t a zero button! I fully appreciate limitations due to covid but even so. Let’s start with food. Bar/grill. Server was super nice. She told me hope you don’t want chicken cause we ain’t got any! Also no potatoe and only one steak. Breakfast was a disaster. Restaurant was closed so take away boxes, ok, I asked for scrambled egg with toast. I got scrambled egg covered in grits after specifically saying no grits! I was offered ham and sausage to which I said yes, only to be told were out of both! Now let’s get to the room. I was in room 500. It was like a scene from My Cousin Vinny! The train track is a few feet from the edge of the building! They run all night! 05:50 I was woken to the horn blowing after getting to sleep at 3am when the train honked to say goodnight?. No microwave, corrosion on fixtures as the room was damp, evidence of smoking despite a no smoking room. Mould in the shower. I called reception to ask if there was a trick to getting the internet to work and was told Yeah those rooms down there are too far away! The dispensers in the corridor and at the elevators for hand cleaning were empty for the entire stay. Staff on floor 5 didn’t wear masks. The whole place was tired and not clean!! Avoid this hotel like the plague!!
