This is REAL FAKE bbq, save your money and go elsewhere. The entire meal was lacking flavor and seasonings. The chicken was clearly roasted in an oven and the brisket was rubbery and dry. No wood or bbq flavor at all! Green beans had no salt and neither did the potato salad which tasted like refrigerated mashed potato with no vinegar or relish or mustard flavor. Never again wasting money here we learned a lesson!!
Spent almost $100 on bbq and it all went to the dogs. I had eaten here several years ago and it was delicious but something changed for the worst.
Guaranteed I will not spend another penny in this place. Loaded potato was loaded with nothing but cheese and the cheese looked like it was leftovers from the government process cheese era. Ordered the salad they were out. Now let's talk about the ribs they were not tender somebody sprinkled seasoning on top of it rather than cook it when barbecuing and you had the nerves to charge me $18 dollars!!! Really I want a refund please.
I ordered 2 potatoes from here today and they were huge. I visited this place a couple years ago and was so impressed with the food and service. Now since I live in this area I will definitely eat here often. The only thing I didn't like is that my potato was too hard. But the service was great.
Went with a group after work for dinner and let me tell you, I was impressed. It's hard to find things that are suitable to my diet, but the lettuce brisket tacos were amazing. And the sauce was so good... it reminds me of Leon's, if you remember that restaurant from the 80s. People were raving about their sides...Mac and cheese, etc. I can't have it but I'm sure it was great. Definitely worth stopping in.
The food was really good and the ladies at the counter were absolutely wonderful! They will definitely get my repeat business.
I'm not really a BBQ fan and don't eat it often! But the food here is delicious!!!!!! I have had them cater food for my office staff twice and eaten lunch here several times and the food is always on point! Many years ago I picked up a catering order and the BBQ sauce was accidentally left out of the order. I didn't realize it until I had made it back to work and my staff began eating. When I called back to let them know I didn't get the barbecue sauce the owner drive to my location to bring me the BBQ sauce!!!I was impressed!!!! YOU CAN'T ASK FOR BETTER SERVICE!!!! Great location, nice staff and AWESOME BBQ!!!!
Paid 20 dollars for 2 meat plate. I got brisket and sausage with baked beans and fries. Brisket seemed like it was warmed up from yesterday. Very dry and tough for a Brisket. Sausage was room temp. Fries were fresh and good beans were alright. BBQ sauce was surprisingly good. For a BBQ place to say "real bbq" it wasn't "real" impressive.
Had high expectations based on the other reviews. The brisket and sausage were dry and tough, and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave.
It really wasn't a very pleasant experience. We ordered our food and then a large group came in and they got their food first which really didn't make a lot of sense to us the lady that took our order wasn't overly friendly but the guy that brought our food to us was very nice I felt very rushed when ordering my food and it was my first time there so I wasn't sure what to get or how it worked the food was okay. Apparently it's a very popular place but it just wasn't for us.
