I was not very impressed with this place. I got the daily special (Thurs-Ham sandwich) with Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes w/gravy for a side. Peach cobbler was for dessert.Pros:• The employees were really nice and asked me two different times how I enjoyed my meal.• The ham sandwich was really good, especially with BBQ sauce.• Very casual atmosphere. It was good to sit down and blend in.Cons:• The Mac & cheese was bland.•The mashed potatoes and gravy were a little cold.• The peach cobbler was not good at all. ?Overall, I would come for the meat they sell. Really good meat and they cut it up in front of you. The meal was almost $17. The sides and dessert didn’t make the cut. Maybe next time!
The food was exceptional, the place was clean fresh bathrooms looking nice. And the staff were great great customer service I will be dinning there again really soon!!!!!!
I just didn't like the taste the service was great the food was hot but the taste was terrible I don't like the season that they use on their meats.This place is handicap friendly inside and outside this place is service friendly
I've been picking up food here at least once a week for a while. My favorites are the brisket and the 1/4 chicken.
Absolutely the worst brisket I've ever had!!!! There was no flavor at all, it was tough, had no bark. I threw it out!! The ribs were ok at least it a little flavor.. Never ever going back, save your money folks and buy a Banquet BBQ rib frozen dinner. Definitely couldn't be any worse than what I ate, at the very least you would've saved money!!!
The quality of the bar Q has gone down hill ! The bar Q sauce, has really gone down hill as well. It taste very vinegary, not much bar Q flavor at all. The quality of the meat has all so gone down hill . I wish the quality of both the bar Q sauce and the meats were back up to quality standards, but that are not !!!
Nice clean restaurant with very clean restrooms. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The Employees were very Friendly, courteous, helpful and very professional. Definitely recommend this establishment.
Really disappointed with my last visit. Haven't been for awhile, and was going to treat my girlfriend to a Chopped Beef Sandwich w/sides, and ordered a "Loaded Potato" w/sides for myself (takeout/drive-thru). Was impressed with the size of the potato and the toppings, until I tried to get my (provided) plastic fork into the potato. The potato was way undercooked and the meat wasn't very warm either. My girlfriend's sandwich was about the same. I only live about 10 mins away, so it isn't like it'd been due to driving distance or something else. Looks like it's going to be another while until I try them again and only as a dine-in.
The is is by far the best Podnuhs in this area. The employees seem to really like their job. My husband is somewhat handicapped and the cashier Carried his tray for him and got his drink without being asked and even during lunch rush. You do not find this kind of service anymore. I will make the drive for sure next time we want barbecue. Definitely 5 stars for me. Oh and the food was awesome also.
The meat is bland the potato salad is good baked beans are good and the BBQ sauce isn't that good. West Monroe has the better Podnuh's. Go there for good food
