Heads up! I ordered out from Nicky’s 6721 Klug Pines Rd today. A Gallon Margarita has doubled in price it is now $60.00. The manager there Sandy informed me that I should buy from Thrifty liquor the next time. He was extremely nasty and unprofessional. The food is good but they don’t deserve my money. Thanks
The beef fajitas were very good. Meat was tender and great flavors. The bartenderis the best. Good drinks. Great service. Always a delight.
Normally I'm one to tip out at 50% of a bill but last night was one of those rare occasions that nothing got left. Walked in and nobody came up front. We had to go search for an employee to sit us and then the waitress was just spaced out. I ordered my food first and it never came so we asked for a to go container and she couldn't even bring it over and had someone else do it so that was enough for me to know she didn't want a tip at all. Manager tried to ask what happened when I went to pay but I didn't want to take it out on him. I don't recommend this location.
We were seated quickly and the staff were very friendly. Wait time was a little long for what we ordered but they give you chips and salsa so it helped tide us over. My husband said his chimichanga was okay, but a bit disappointing because all it had in it was beef and cheese. My shrimp tacos were amazing, the sauce they use is out of this world and really tied the dish together. They charge you to use card, which I find off since people rarely carry cash these days. Limited options for small kiddos. All in all, a good experience and better than Taco Bell but not a place I am likely to choose again.
It was a very unique experience. This is a TRUE Mexican restaurant, there was Karaoke, art, and I could tell this food was true Mexican food, once you eat here you will never think of Taco Bell the same again. The food was amazing!
My family visited this location tonight. It was an awful experience! Our waiter got our order wrong, so we had a missing meal. He was extremely inattentive to our table and we are very easy going people. He would pass up our table when we tried to flag him down, we basically had to beg for drink refills, Which only got filled once. Our waiter was too busy talking with his friends at other tables. We will not be back to this location or any other's. This is the second bad experience we've had at these establishments.Also, the food quality wasn't very pleasant.
I bought the carnitas street tacos. I had already eaten one before taking the picture. They come with lime, cilantro, onions, and green sauce. They also came with a few new potatoes in the center of the plate. Everything was delicious. The only bad thing was the fountain drink (diet Pepsi), which can't be helped because this location is in Shreveport and their water tastes like RIVER water.
Went at 3:30pm on a Tuesday. It was not busy at all, there were only a few tables with people. We stood in the lobby for 10 minutes and I literally had to jump up and down to get someone's attention. Not a huge deal, but still... Then when we sat down and the waiter tried to take our order even though we didn't have menus. We asked for menus and he gave them and left so we could look at them. After 20 minutes he had not returned. I stood up and looked around and did not see any of the staff. After another 5 minutes I stood up and looked around again and didn't see anyone, so we just left. It was pretty ridiculous. Also, it's not their fault, but a piece of chip got stuck in my gum.
We went to Nicky's for my mom and step- dad's anniversary. It was wonderful.. we were seated shortly after arriving, the service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent! Would definitely recommend them if you are in the area.
I showed up; the resteraunt was basically empty. I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes to be seated or even acknowledged. Immediately after being seated and given chips and salsa, our waiter (who seemed very sweet) asked for our orders before realizing we had never been given menus. He promptly gave us menus and disappeared. The salsa tasted like comino and pizza sauce, and we didnt see another staff member for 30 minutes, so we decided to just leave.
