The wait was long, the dirty rice was horrible (spolied), but the shrimp fried rice was the best that I've ever had !!! The Highlight is definitely the owner...Good spirited person, awesome personality, million dollar smile, and his customer service is 100 you can tell that he cares...He jus needs a winning team to make it more amazing...I have no doubt that he'll achieve that. I'll go back because of him and also the menu is impressive. I'm curious.

One of the best kept secrets in shreveport. Always great food and nice atmosphere. Almost never so overcrowded that it’s discouraging to dine there. Welcomed the BTW C/O 1972 with open arms. Thanks Mr Smith and crew,BTW C/O 72

2 days in a row! Delicious rice one day fries the day before. Great customer service ?

The very friendly gal instantly made it a great experience.... She talked this northerner thru the menu but settled on some.oysters and chips.... The hush puppies were flipping amazing.... Good.place near a bunch of hotels off I 20

I've been coming to monkhouse seafood before they were in their new locations since 2009 and I've always loved their coleslaw and their fried catfish well it's been about 3 years since I've been there due to pandemic and health problems now that I'm finally back out and about decided to say I'm going to go back and have me some of that good old fish and my coleslaw man they made the best coleslaw well I guess times have changed because the coleslaw was dry I looked for the sauce that was supposed to be on it but it was just like wet and the fish smelled a little burnt but that wasn't the problem it was flavorless and no seasoning nobody put tartar sauce in nobody gave me salt nobody asked me if I wanted any condiments I was just handed the thing like I always do expecting it to be inside no hush puppies come on now you eat fishy with hush puppies but all I got was the fish and yes it was plenty of it they're three piece is very large come prepared to be full but come on monkhouse can we put a little bit of seasoning on there or at least offer somebody some seasoning y'all are still my favorite but I'm only giving you two stars on this visit come on earn those stars back can I have my old coleslaw back the kind that had sauce and was creamy not crunchy dry cabbage

I was over charged for my food and toldThat I needed to call my bank. Once I got home to eat my shrimp were deformed looking but I still ate them cause im a gremlin. Will definitely be calling backWhen the manager is there about my money my total was 43.60 and I was charged 52 dollars ?

This restaurant is located inside the Regency Inn & Suites just East off of 20 out of Shreveport. Trying the blackened Cajun Catfish on a bed of rice with etouffee and shrimp on top. I am a CDL Class A truck driver and this place is also located right next door to the Quality Inn and they do have parking in the back for diesels and trucks pulling trailers like Hotshot or transport

Depending on time of day the food is excellent. I found that evening/night shift have better cooks and service.

Two people working in this place. One in the front and one at the back. Floor is sticky. We ordered crawdid etoufett. It costed $10 per cup and it's lukewarm. To pricy, maybe I need to eat out often.

Amazing food. I had the Cajun black bayou. It was great with good seasoning. Husband had the stuffed shrimp. It was great as well. I will visit again if I am ever back in Shreveport.
