This location seems to be Pizza Hut Restaurant in the past....We are glad there is this Sushi restaurant on this side of Shreveport, overall food are pretty good, staff is really friendly.
I’m a truck driver; parked across the street. I called in a to go order of steak hibachi, crazy roll and red dragon roll. All of it was absolutely awesome! My favorite was the crazy roll. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will be back every time we pass through here. Thank you!
Great, authentic Japanese food. I have visited this site a couple times and have thoroughly enjoyed the food. Prob sizes are ample, the food is really good and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Definitely with a stop if you're patient through Shreveport
Tried the tofu to go and it was so good! The tofu is perfectly sized and fried and the perfect texture! Plus you get tons of rice and veggies to go with, it supplied two meals for me especially because you also get a side salad.I would return here to try more!
Their spicy ramen (pictured) was not bad but not good enough to reorder later. They used an instant noodle instead of authentic Japanese noodle.Instead, their Tofu bento box (lunch special) was very good and highly recommended.Sushi rolls were mediocre in taste and smaller portions.
I ordered the Sushi and Sashimi B Combo which is over $20 by itself. The chef must have used a deli slicer to cut the sashimi, the pieces were so small it was ridiculous and DEFINITELY not worth the money. I would give a lower review, but the server was very polite and attentive. I will never order Sashimi there again…
I have a hard time supporting a place that doesn’t support families. Me and my family eat here all the time and one night we want to order Togo but they don’t allow you to order to-go kids plates. The lady who took my call just suggested that I order a regular size chicken plate for my TWO year old. After my already $50 plus order I should pay full price for a large plate that my toddler will not eat because you refuse to sell me a product on your menu? Obviously not a family oriented business.
I was visiting Shreveport and looking for restaurants and I came across Kumo Sushi. So glad I did. This was hands down some of the best steak and chicken hibachi I have had in a long time. Chicken was moist and tender and steak was cooked perfectly. Salad dressing was delicious and miso soup was tasty. Huge portions too, which is great, I get to enjoy it again for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend!
Loved it!Had a tuna roll to start with. Steak Yakisoba and Steak Hibachi for our entrees and finished with strawberry ice cream.In both of our dishes the steak was flavorful and cooked done and remained tender. The Yakisoba noodles were great. Medium thickness and did a good job soaking up flavor.I'm looking forward to our next visit.
The appearance (a renovated Pizza Hut building by the interstate) really does NOT do this place justice. The margarita roll was one of the most unique and delicious rolls I have ever tried. It was so good we had to order a second! Give this place a try- you will not be disappointed.
