We gathered together as family and friends after the funeral of a young family member. We literally bombarded them with about 25 people after I initially told them a party of 15. They were so friendly and made no fuss. The gentleman at the counter did everything he could to seat us as the numbers grew. The young lady that waited on us was A++++!You could tell she was raised right. Just as sweet as she was pretty.The fish were PERFECT ! All the food was. Thank you Johnnys Catfish and Seafood and employees. We are grieving a great loss but your unselfish service is appreciated.
Awesome food and friendly service. A family restaurant for all ages. Love the red beans coleslaw and tomato relish you get with your dinner. And never ending hush puppies. The chicken fried steak is a big tender steak and the loaded baked potato is a good size potato as well. Can't believe it's only 13.00Well worth the moneyAnd the service is top notch from the door greeter to the entire staff telling you to come back soon.
While traveling back to North Carolina after a visit to El Paso, we were lucky enough to find this place after stopping for the night. Around our hotel was all the usual chain restaurants, but we wanted something besides take-out. Everyone was friendly. Our waitress, Erica, was all smiles and patient with us as we tried to decide what to order. Even though it was 8:30 at night and the restaurant was closing at 10pm, the food was still fresh and hot. I had the catfish, my wife had the pot roast with rice. The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely find Johnny’s when we’re back in LA.!
We had dinner here and it was the best catfish I’ve had in a long time. Had a Cajun spice to it. My husband had the Jumbo fried shrimp and he loved it! Would eat there again if we ever get back to Shreveport…
They never disappoint, the service is always awesome and the food is great. It's so nice to sit down in a restaurant and get waited on by employees that are actually happy to be there, these guys and girls bust their behinds to make sure you're well taken care of. Great bunch of people.
Service was good, food was delivered quickly. Baked potato was hot and tasted good. The website says catfish. That was NOT catfish, as we know it. It was white fish, but not catfish. That is false advertising, and we drive a long way out here for that. Won’t be back.
This place has the best food, so glad my husband and I chose this place to eat on Valentine's Day, we will be back thank you for the great service❤
This family owned seafood cafe is not "all you can eat" it is "more then you can eat".I had the oysters. Came with relishes and hush puppies. Three veggies. All very well prepared.Ordered take out chicken fried steak with sides for friend. Both were on lunch m enue and great value for taste service and quality/quantity.Will return.
Catfish oh so good! Veggies hot and well seasoned. Johnny's is our go to restaurant for lunch when we visit Shreveport.
We had a friendly and attentive waiter. The fish had a good taste. The only down side was someone said the fish was actually swai.
