The crab salad is wonderful. I don't know what is in the dressing but it makes me happy!

One of my Shreveport favorites! Wonderful Southern food! Friendly service! After I’ve been away living in Austin they remembered me when I walked in. Must visit local favorite! I always get the trio sampler, a little of the best of everything.
Excellent service. A great place to eat and enjoy. Food was amazing . Not sure why there is no sweet tea only unsweet.guess everyone likes there different. My husband said is red beans and rice were very good just tasted a little different . The salad i had was very fresh ! I ate sausage jambalaya it was good with French bread. The place takes you back to ol Cafe in New Orleans. The owner was out front helping reaching out to her customers. Shes a true owner . Go by there and enjoy her sandwiches . Her prices are very fair . Very clean and inviting!

Old and small, crowded. You have to stand in line to order and then find an empty table. Food is hit and miss. Iced tea is good. Meat Sauce and spagetti, the meat sauce was scorched both times we ordered it. Like they rushed to get it cooked. Ate it. Why bother complaining. Good pie, always but often out of the one you want. Loud and noisy and closes midafternoon. Also way out of the way from where people live.

I'm not sure if I went on a bad day, ordered a bad menu item, or if it is just overrated because it is a Shreveport staple! I got the Shrimp Salad sandwich and a cup of soup. Including drink and tip (even though I ordered at the counter I gave a tip) it was $20. The salad was a typical cold salad, and although there was plenty of it, I was hoping for a good piece of bread with it but it was just sliced sandwich bread. The soup was fine but not anything special. The people were not very friendly.
