Joyful workers. Thinly sliced ham (which I dipped into the sauce) was very good.
Awesome BBQ. I could eat something here every day. I liked (not everyone will) thr thin cut brisket. Im sure they will thick cut it for you. Its amazing like that on a sandwich. Sorry about photo. I had eaten some before I was inspired to leave a review. Nice ladies (staff) when I went by.
Great BBQ hands down. But what happened to all the sweet women who worked here? Seems like every time I go now I’m rushed by unhappy workers who play on the to go speaker. What happened? If you do not like to interact with customers do not work in the customer service industry. The sweet lady who works the register inside is always nice.
If I could give a half star I would and that would only be for the fountain drinks, toast, and chicken. The sides are horrible. The potato salad has a pound of sugar on it. The "baked beans" taste like cheap pinto beans with black pepper on it. The BBQ sauce taste like watered down ketchup ?. My ribs were over cooked. $50 most definitely went to waste
The barbeque here is outstanding. The only downside is it's a bit on the expensive side. My wife and I each had a two-meat plate and a drink. The total was just over $50. That's a bit pricey, even for barbeque. The taste, however, went a long way in easing the sticker shock.
Really like Hickory Stick! I've been a patron for 20-plus years. Friendly employees and a family-owned business. Food that is consistently great!
THE WAS BY FAR THE BEST BBQ AND SERVICE WE HAVE EVER HAD. THE OWNER AND STAFF MADE US FEEL SO WELCOMED AND AT HOME IN THIS RESTAURANT!! THE PRESENTATION OF THE FOOD AND DINING AREA WAS CLEAN AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. A TRUE BLESSING ? ? WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IF WE LIVED IN THE AREA.
I ordered lunch from here for the first time last week and I was quite impressed with the flavor of the ribs,potato salad,and beans! I will order again. Great job!
From south TexasWent to shrevport to visit a friend n went to the hickory stick....Good good eating i will always go there when i visit shrevport. I love thwy food.. If i lived in shrevport i would probably eat there 2 times a week..
Good bbq place would eat there again. Service good but a little high. Friendly staff.
