SO Appropriately named!! My husband and I were in Hog heaven!! The best BBQ we’ve had in years! So very thankful we found Hog Heaven … We will be back!!!

My friend and I have been praying for a good soul food place to visit on Sundays and now we've found it! First things first...The customer service was phenomenal! The cashier/waitress took our orders in a polite and professional manner and even made suggestions. Now the food, I had brisket and ribs with potato salad/baked beans, tender and well seasoned... delicious. My friend has the oxtail with rice, again well seasoned. The owner came out to make sure we were OK and then gave us complimentary orders of pigs feet to try! I later found that this was my companions 3rd visit this week! We dined in and were delighted with both the service and the food...well done Sir! We will definitely be back! ?
I don't normally post about restaurants, but this one deserves a positive post. I went to Hhog Hheaven yesterday morning I had heard about how well the food was and that they run out early. We make sure we got there before 11:00 a.m. when they open. Once we were there we were greeted by the owner Mr Kenneth, and the heavenly smell of barbecue. Our orders were oxtails with dirty rice and candy yams, beef tips with rice and gravy, baked beans and string beans. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the slogan is right on point. "Need no teeth to eat our meat!" It's right slogan for this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. This gentleman, who has served our country (Thank you for your service Mr. Kenneth) is also serving our souls with good food, graciousness and dedication. As I waited for my food my mouth was watering. Fall off the bone ribs a solid was phenomenal. The me didn't even need the barbecue sauce it was so well seasoned. The barbecue sauce was delicious too though you have to eat it with the sauce too!
This is a great fun place to eat down home country and cajun food. He specializes in daily featured lunch specials.The workers are so very nice, the place is always spotless.
I've been there twice and it is some of the better bbq you'll find in Shreveport bossier area. I had the brisket and rib combo both times. What can I say when you know what you like you eat it. Lol. But the owner and staff is very respectful and LOVE what they do. I'll be back ASAP. Since you want great BBQ come on.
Such amazing food and super nice staff! All the food was wonderful! And the fried brisket burrito is a must try!!!!
