First time here and I was not very impressed at all ... the "jumbo" hot dog was not jumbo at all and I'm pretty sure I could get a better hot dog at party central(it was over cooked). Also the bun wasn't solid but it definitely wasn't soft and fresh whatsoever. Honestly if you're in search of good hot dogs find Mickey and his cart downtown or go to missing link. On top of all this they were out of 4 different soda choices or choose beer.
My family and I went here a couple of months after they opened. The staff (at that time) didn't seem too friendly or even care to be there. They didn't have any macaroni & cheese so I had the brisket sandwich. Food was extremely salty to the point that I didn't finish eating it. For what we got (bread & overly seasoned meat) it was pretty expensive.I did enjoy being given the different BBQ sauces to try at the table. That was a fun experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and well kept.To summarize our overall experience; the food was pricey, way too salty, and the staff (at that time) were not pleasant to deal with or remotely helpful.
This was my first time there. I got the triple sampler, wife got a braut, son got a pulled pork sandwich. I would prefer to leave a positive review, but simply cannot. The sampler came with pulled pork, shredded chicken and beef sliders and one side. I made it a meal so I could get a second side and drink, but never got the second side. The shredded chicken was inedible, very, very dried out and flavorless. Even with all the sauces at my disposal, couldn't save it. The beef was nearly as bad. The pulled pork was the best part, and I might have fared better with just a pulled pork sandwich. The macaroni and cheese side tasted little better than the microwaved cups you can buy, and my wife didn't care for her meal either. Considering the price, it was not worth what was paid in my meager opinion.
This is a cool place to eat. The staff is very friendly and the curbside is always fast. The salad was delicious and the brisket bowl is awesome. I love the sweet cornbread. You will enjoy both dining in and curbside.
I hopped online to see if others had as bad of an experience as I did and sure enough, the reviews match the quality. Y'all get 2 stars, one star for sweet workers and one for good bbq sauce, after that it was not a good experience, and I ordered a lot of different things because I wanted to sample as much as possible. The wings were taken from Chicken Little, definitely not monster wings as advertised and zero flavor. None of the bbq was even close to good or smoked, maybe baked without seasoning? The bun on my mac n cheese brisket sandwich was so hard I was scared to drop it and break the tile in my kitchen, like it got microwaved and set out for too long. The sausage dog had a greenish hue so I wasn't going to even try it. The loaded tots were a poor excuse for food, the pulled pork was like a fine powder,,,, powdered pork hmmm. The pulled chicken was ok and the chili cheese fries were ok. Y'all have some work to do, I'll come back in a couple months and see if anything changed, hopefully I can change my review.
I've been meaning to try this place out for months and I finally got the chance. All I can say is that everything was 7/10 in taste. The coleslaw had no taste whatsoever and it didn't even taste like it. The sliders were average but it kinda tasted dry to me. EVERYTHING WAS OILY ? Overall..... I think I need to give them another try when my tastebuds and sinuses ain't acting a fool. ? Also, I had to ask the workers for napkins after the fact I was done eating cause there was no napkins in sight. ? She ended up giving me a roll of paper towels. ??? If y'all knew y'all were out then maybe let the customers know ahead of time and at least give them napkins (paper towels) with their meals. I had to preclean my hands with hand sanitizer. ?
Really great experience overall. It is a chain but the ownership is clearly local and care a great deal about the customer's overall outlook before, during and after the meal. I didn't have high hopes but by the end I was giving thumbs up to the staff for their suggestions and have sent a few others their way. All suggested to go have relayed similar outcomes. It's a great lunch spot if you are hungry. The portions are far from small... Seriously ?
I ordered the Mac and Cheese brisket bowl through DoorDash and I completely underestimated this. It taste so freaking good ? just need to add a little more seasoning for taste but it’s not too bland. The meat not too tough either. I will order here again.
Don’t give a lot of 5 stars but I don’t know why people hate this place I guess it’s just not the norm but we loved it. It is a bit pricey but now days what isn’t got the chicken tots, 3 street taco&& brisket mac&&cheese sandwiche&&every was delicious definitely going back.
This was our first visit as we wanted to try something new. It's a good selection on the menu And decided on the pulled chicken nachos and the hot sausage with brisket. The restaurant was clean and the food arrived quickly. At end of meal we noticed worker eating and drinking over the food prep area and being very unsanitary about it. Therefore I drop two stars off the review. The prices are a little on the high side and I think food prep hygiene needs to be reinforced here
