My first time here and it was delish. Chopped brisket sandwich, fries and bbq beans which were to die for and had a little kick to them. I will be back

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere

Great food, great service. Used the party room and the waitresses were awesome and so helpful.

We had been to this place several times and it seemed to us that things were going down. Ribs very good, but very small. Steak very good one time, dry the next time. French fried potatoes were excellent the first few times than tasted as if they were frozen fries and fiinally the last visit they tasted like they had been just lying around for quite awhile. Something has changed. And service was awful, they just ignored us. I had to almost jump on the table to get anyone to please come over. They serve drinks but if you want a mixed drink like an old fashioned, forget it. Basic shots or something with coke or forget it.Their pecan cobbler still excellent. But not going back for anything again, we do not go out just for dessert.

Great place!

We'll never go back. The food had a good flavor but 4 out of 5 of us had cold food. I didnt eat my cold fries. My chopped brisket sandwich was 50% fat and the edge of the bun was burned. One of our friends had a fly in his tea glass down in the ice. He saw it AFTER he drank the tea. Management did comp us with free dessert, which was the best part of the whole meal. Taylor, our waitress, was awesome. Service was great. But never again.

Ate her for lunch after a Dr appointment. Maybe we hit them on a bad day but the food was underwhelming after all the very positive reviews and comments we had from friends who've eaten here. The service was outstanding and our server was very personable and attentive so no issue there. The portions were nice and the food was served hot and well presented but it just didn't live up to our expectations. That said, the dessert we had was amazing ! Their home made banana pudding more than made up for the entrees (ribs and BBQ combo). My wife and I agreed this was some of the best banana pudding we'd ever had a a restaurant. And the portion was huge. We should have split one serving between us. We may just go back to have banana pudding dessert again and skip the main course.

Good service, Good food. Steak cooked perfectly.. Ribs fall off the bone. A wonderful place to stop and enjoy a meal

Visited Country Tavern on Saturday night, it wasn't too busy (we were surprised) and we were seated promptly. Three in our party; one had filet mignon and ribs and the other two had the ribs. Ribs were excellent. For appetizers we had the cheese fries and the Texas toothpicks. Texas toothpicks were very good, the cheese fries were OK. Would definitely recommend the Texas toothpicks. Would definitely recommend the ribs. Our daughter had the filet mignon and I think she was very satisfied with it as well. Service was good. There was a little confusion as one of the menus stated there were some local beer/ brewery choices and the other menus did not show these options. My husband was interested in the (craft?) beer options shown on his menu (but not shown on my or our daughter's menus) - turned out they did not have the (craft/local) beer selections shown on his menu.

Have stopped there several times, always for lunch. Usually not very crowded then and service is quick and friendly. Normally have a sandwich, which is very large and more than enough to fill me up. Prices are reasonable.
