This places is always good and it's great place to go for an anniversary, marriage proposal, valentines day, low lighting romantic setting, food is excellent! 5 stars
We came here for dinner on a Monday evening shortly after opening. Personnel and service was friendly. The food 3 out of 5 stars. The soups we had were good but al of our main dishes were a bit 'off'. I can't really put my finger on it but no one of finished our dishes. The desserts the chocolate mousse cake and the Tiramisu we couldn't eat and left it on the table after a couple of bites of each dessert.
Good food, good service, good atmosphere
Exquisite!! It's like walking in to a famous, 0ld restaurant in Northern Italy. I shared the experience with my wife and a dear, old friend of mine and his bride of many years. They live in Shreveport. It's a place where everyone seems to know everyone. The who's who of Shreveport. In a matter of minutes it feels like home. Before the night is over you will have met most all of the guest. One last comment. If you're on a budget this is not the place for you. It is truly a dining experience.
This was my first time going, and I was very impressed. The greeters were very nice and seated us right away. Brought drinks 1st, then salad, followed by entrée. Food was delicious. Dessert was the cherry on top very good. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would go back again.
Recently we had a retirement party for my sister at your restaurant. First I need to say that I never rate or review restaurants I visit. But I need no must give you a review. My wife had the veal and I had the red snapper she had the strawberry cake and I had the German chocolate, LOL. I cannot express enough how terrible our experience was. The fish was over cooked the veal was so thin and burned, even the salad was just plain bad. And the portions was better suited for a child’s plate. I cannot believe a restaurant of your reputation would dare serve food like this. Don’t blame this on Covid. Finally, I’m not a food critic but know good or bad food. Just to let you know that everyone (14) in our party had the same opinion that my wife and I did. Sorry but we won’t be back.
Where the food was flavorful and the service was great, the portion sizes were ridiculously small. I ate here 3 years ago and this was not the case. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
We came here to celebrate our daughters sixteenth birthday. Upon arriving we asked to include a chair for an additional guest which in turn upset our server. The staff member bringing out our bread and water was very rude and disrespectful. When our table asked for more butter she snapped at us like children stating “I just brought out three butter bowls and you already went through them” Then we had to ask for menus after sitting there for an hour. When they brought them out they only gave us enough menus for half of our table. They informed us this was all the menus they had available and we’d have to share them. Took one and a half hours to get our food, it was all cold, and very bland. The server forgot to put in my mother’s order and rather than taking responsibility and being apologetic he blamed it on the kitchen. Worse, he asked her if she even wanted him to put it in because it would take a long time for her to receive it. At this point she told him to just forget it and left hungry. Then it took thirty minutes to receive our checks after having to ask for them. Worst service and food I've had in a very long time. We were very disappointed to say the least.
