This is a neat bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. There was lots of great music playing loud enough to hear and still low enough to hold a conversation. The portions were a little small for the price tag, so this may be a good place to celebrate, but not an everyday eat spot. I didn't care for my food. It was dry and bland, but I think I ordered improperly. The brotato across the table looked yummy. I would give this place another chance, but I wasn't a big fan of my first experience.
Great food great service great atmosphere. BBQ is expensive no matter where you go.
$21 for a 2 meat plate..ribs were baby back ribs with NO MEAT on them and the sausage literally made me throw up ? the BBQ sauce is too spicy and nasty. This is the worst BBQ restaurant in Shreveport! The food is definitely not worth the price. The quality is not good at all! if you want Bodacious BBQ go to the one in Marshall, Tx. Now they are good! This place is ridiculous!!
A HUGE thank you to PJ and his staff at Bodacious for accommodating our family and friends after a very late Thursday night graduation! They graciously stayed after hours, making sure our group of about 40 had a fun place to gather, especially with that fab patio of theirs, complete with delicious food and drinks and incredible service. They went wayyy above and beyond, and I’m so grateful. Each of us is grateful! The Bodacious staff is an exemplary model of customer service coupled with terrific food!
Experience was meh. I got the lg rib plate and for the price I don't think they should have been baby back and they were not tender at all. The sides I ordered fries (ok) and red beans were salty. My companion got the Cobb salad and added chicken, she said it was ok. All in all, I will probably give them a while to work out the kinks before we return.
The food was delicious! Jazz was our waitress and she was amazing. Drinks never got low and she took super good care of our table.
Seemed to be a slow evening. I had the chopped beef samitch with bbq beans, and potato salad. I thought it was all just okay. I’d come back. Service was great!
Love Bodacious Barbecue in Bossier City. This location in Shreveport is excellent as well. The staff and the food are wonderful. Will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Was very excited to hear about this place opening. Was finally able to make it by the other night with my fiancé. She had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the chopped beef sandwich and both were outstanding. Nothing beats some BBQ and a nice Great Raft Beer to wash it down. The fried pickles were very good and so was the okra. Even though they were busy, our server Jasmine (hope I’m spelling that right) made the experience very nice with how friendly she was and how quickly she got the items we requested. The manager (PJ) came by and spoke with us and made sure we had everything we needed which I appreciated. We sat out on the patio and they had it enclosed so it was a nice dinner and great atmosphere with my fiancé and I couldn’t ask for much more. Will definitely be back. Would give an extra star if I could because I want this place to stay around. We need more places with good food and great service in the 318.
First off I'll say the atmosphere is still great. The girl at the register and the guy who brought out our food were both very nice. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten really high. I paid over 20 bucks for a two meat plate. I got a plate with ribs and sliced beef. Fried okra and green beans. The fried okra was great and the green beans were ok. The ribs. Man. I can't believe these came out of the kitchen. They looked rough. They looked like end pieces or something. I don't know. I'd have eaten those in the kitchen itself or tossed em. They were also very salty. It was a shame. They have always been my favorite. The sliced beef was passable, but still no where near as good as it had been many times before. The meat is what you guys are supposed to be good at. I don't know if this was an off day or what. I've had many great experiences at Bodacious before. It was insulting to pay that price for the food and then the sides were the only thing worth really eating. This experience will probably keep me from ever going back to this location. I may try the one in Shreveport since it's closer, but it'll be awhile. It's a shame that it was so bad today because like I've said it has always been very good BBQ before. I hope the location is Shreveport does well and the quality gets better at the Bossier location.
