It was two vehicles in drive thru mine and one ahead of me.They took the car in front me order I pulled up to speaker was asked to hold on stayed there for about twenty-five minutes. I had to say hello before someone came back to take my order, Then I placed my order pulls forward to pay sit at the window for about five minutes, then was asked to pull up to wait on my food , other vehicles behind me order and received their food and I was still waiting and more vehicles came and placed orders, then I got out of my vehicle went inside and got my food it was just sitting on the counter .
The service was wonderful and the restaurant was clean. The food unfortunately was not very good. The kids chicken strip had an odd taste and the chicken wings were dry. The food is normally very good. This is the 1st time I have eaten at the location in Ruston.I enjoy the food at Zaxby's very much, this may have just been an off day for them.
First time at Zaxby’s. Not busy only 3 other people inside. 2 chicken sandwiches(1 club, 1 original), 2 fries. Took 22 minutes to get food. Chicken sandwich was as described, but not great (chick fil-a, Popeyes, Wendy’s, McDonalds all better). Restaurant was clean, Staff was friendly, Bathroom was out of hand soap. Not likely to be back.
I love their salads, but this location frequently doesn’t put all the ingredients on them. The last time I bought cobs for 5 people and none of them had bacon or egg, and I didn’t realize until I got home. When I called, the employee said that the manager said there wasn’t anything they could do.
I believe it's the first place I've seen with a closed dining area in several months. Even just focused on drive-thru, wait times were lengthy. When you did make it to the window and would hand them your card, they looked lost. Even asked for my PIN for my debit.
I was disappointed in the chicken strips. They used to be thicker and juicy. But now, they're thin and a little dry. Did Zaxby's change their tenders?
Absolutely terrible experience. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it still took 40 minutes to get the order! We went up to the counter after 20 minutes, and the lady very rudely said that it'll be ready when it's ready. Ten minutes later, food was set on the island behind the counter. After looking at it for ten minutes (while the cashier was on her phone), I went up and asked if that was our food. She looked at it and said "I guess" and handed it to us. Half the food was cold, the fried pickles were rubbery, and they shorted us 3 chicken strips... Avoid!
They closed at granted had not been in awhile however I could not get my money back for 5 to 7 days due it being an online order. My experience with not good. I will never go back again.
