I'm just not a fan of this place. Food was mediocre. The ambiance is very nice.
Nasty bathrooms and restaurant. The food was mediocre at best. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. Not someplace I ever plan on going to again.
Service was slow and sloppy and the orders messed up. The Rueben sand was served with I toasted sandwich “wheat” bread, ice cold, and with kid sized bag of chips. Patty melt ordered with no mayo arrived slathered in mayo. Other orders were wrong. I won’t return.
I eat next door twice a week and was curious about the place after hearing a bad account of the staff and service. I won't be going back in there.
Horrible service from the rotating kids waiting tables who have no idea what they’re doing nor trained to do so properly by whomever is supposed to train them which makes for horrible management. My friends and I went there a few times a month for years since we do try to support the community but after the last visit, none of us will be returning.

i didn't order food so I can't give recommendation there. the bar inside reminded me of a friendly night time from old fashioned TV show Mels Diner with one musician who had such old soul in her voice, solo on a guitar as entertainment. She was very good. Although I was the only antique in the tavern I was welcomed at the bar and also at the pool table. The outside patio is very inviting giving you a sense of belonging even to dine alone. I see so much potential for growth drawing the young and the old in for the experience..put pool tables up front give patio a few more nature sparks and light so inviting to want to dine and leave the bar and bandstand area the same. don't jack it up ritzy just give it a lil dusting ...!! had a really cool time
Very good food but poor staff except for some of the waitresses if you come here I highly recommend the turkey melt.
Bar staff is amazing and friendly. Food is delicious. Try the Patty Melt.
