I ordered the jalapeño turkey crunch and cheesecake through the Waitr app. My food was ready in less than 15 minutes and everything was delicious.
30 mins to get a half sandwich and half salad…when asked about the delay…I was told only 1 person working the line…so my question: what are the other six plus ppl I can see from the ordering counter doing? No reply…when I requested the manager..got the same response. I wasn’t the only person waiting on food today! Won’t go back there anytime soon
Always hits the spot. Food was great until I need to use the restroom. No toilet paper. No soap. What restaurant doesn't clean the bathrooms everyday. I don't think it was checked for at least a week because the 2 industrial rolls were empty. Had to resort to the paper towels. Good fast food but the staff needs to attend to that bathrooms.
Amazing sandwiches and they have gluten free bread! I love the Ruben and the potato salad is legit! McAlister’s is my favorite sandwich spot in Ruston.
Service is TERRIBLE when completing a walk-in. Went in after a Walmart run to grab just a sweet tea and cookie from inside. It look forever for the cashier to notice me b/c she was too busy engaging with the BOH staff. When she finally acknowledged me and I ordered my tea she said that was my tea (pointing to a cup of tea that had been sitting on the counter prior to my arrival), I told her no and i wanted a fresh cup and she said "well it was only sitting there for a few minutes"....and thats when i tried to remain calm b/c I wasn't going to take an old drink. I don't know if Shakorien had a bad day but don't bring that energy to work no more.
Service is absolutely horrible, I have come in at least 5 times since it opened and have had multiple different employees ignore me while I was waiting to order, when I could order they try to rush you through and tell you the price after your first item and assume that’s all your getting and look offended when you say your not done ordering yet for a three person party. This has happened with at least 3 seperate employees so it’s not just one its a problem in the store overall, I’ve never been so disappointed because I come back for the food because I like McCallisters but I’ve never had such bad service at a restaurant every single time I’ve come. I’ve been the only table here several times and our order somehow takes over 20 minutes to get brought to us, I have given it several chances and I never leave bad reviews but this is just a continuous problem and the employees will actively roll their eyes at you, and I’ve worked in food service so I’m always as respectful as I can be so it just is a very annoying environment to enjoy my food.
Terrible service. I have eaten here regularly since they opened. However, in the last few month the service has been horrible. I have gotten the wrong order and have not recieved things that I have order. Most recently when I placed an online order, waited the estimated 15 mins. then went to get my food. When I arrived they told me to pull around I proceeded to wait another 25 minutes for a salad and baked potatoe. Once my food was finally given to me I was told they were out of lids for the cups.... I found this hard to believe considering I had just seen the worker put lids on cups for the cars behind me. When I called to talk to a manager I got hung up on at first, had to call again, then when I finally did reach her she acted like she could not care less. No appology, no sorry about that, nothing. It was such an awkward exchange that I finally just said well okay I guess have a good night.
Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't super busy, but steady. The staff was polite and the food was good. They even checked to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. I was surprised when I read all of the negative reviews later. Hopefully the business has solved these issues and are now improving. We had a good experience.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I’ve been eating here since the grand opening and everything was fine up until recently. I’m not sure if they had a sudden change in staff or what but they need to be retrained completely! I have never been treated so rudely by staff for no reason. If this business wants to continue receiving my services or any other persons service they should consider teaching their cashiers how to speak to people.
Very long line, only one register open to take orders-- waited 30 minutes to order. Club sandwich was very small for the price-- barely enough for my husband to feel that he had a complete meal. Probably won't return.
