I like it but they need to do something about the beans, I have gone three times the first time was great but the last two times the beans that test like they are burned or something
Used to eat here back when it was Old Mexico. Not much has changed since then, still top teir salsa. Just a little more karaoke now and then
2 stars only because my enchiladas, beans and rice were very flavorful. The "shrimp fajita quesadilla," however, was an absolute joke. If I would've looked before I left, I would've gotten a refund. It was two tortillas with like 6 tiny shrimp stuffed between, with a few raw peppers and onion spread about. No lettuce, tomato, sour cream, nothing. It's priced at the same point as competition, but far inferior. I could've made it at home with $3 worth of ingredients, if that.
It's your average run of the mill Tex-Mex restaurant. They've got some good chipsz salsa, and queso, but the food is average at best.
Good food. Not expensive.
If you are on the Interstate this is your quick and easy stop. Very quick and good food. You will not be disappointed. Also anything else you will need to get back on the road. Within a rock through is Gas, Super Market, Walgreens and more.
My mother, my nephew and I had lunch at La Bamba on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Mother had two beef tacos, my nephew had the Don Juan plate, and I had the La Bamba special. The cost for this meal, including drinks and taxes, was $33.66. Most of the food was very good but not exceptional. What was exceptional were the tacos (some of the best we've had) and the service. You couldn't have asked for a better waiter than TYLER. Our meal was served promptly, drink refills were quickly delivered, and we didn't have to wait around for our check. We will return.
Had a lovely birthday meal and margarita at La Bamba earlier!
The food was not the best at all. However they do have karaoke nights on Thursdays and it is good
Great food. Nice people. Good prices
