Big juicy burger, but a bit expensive having to pay more for extras like cheese, etc. Fries were too greasy, but they did give quite a large portion. Iced tea was fresh. Hubby adored the brown gravy (dipped his fries). Remoulade sauce was a bit too horseradish-y for me but not bad. Service was friendly and pretty fast.May go back to try the shrimp tacos since they've got such good reviews...Cost = $32 for single cheeseburger meal + double cheeseburger meal + side of brown gravy. (Could have easily spent more on burger toppings and dessert = eyeballing the cinnamon roll.)
This is a great place to eat just off interstate 20 Tech exit. They have excellent hamburgers including a double (number 2 basket) that can be ordered on a gluten-free bun. They also will do their fried catfish and fried shrimp gluten-free if they are asked. they have plenty of tables inside, or well lit and generally get the orders out expeditiously. They have a call in service with a side door takeout counter where you can park right outside the door. They generally have food ready to go within 15 minutes of a call. A great place in Ruston for either a sit down meeting with business clients or friends or just pick up a couple of burger baskets to-go for lunch on a day when the schedule calls for such.
We got our order to go, but the inside is very nice and the menu has a lot of good choices in terms of seafood. The gal who took my order, Emily, was very nice and smiley. I’d come back. It’s very clean in here, too.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. So many options it was hard to chose. Made fresh with real meat, the burgers are huge. Fresh seafood, ice cream. Friendly, helpful staff. Bring your appetite you won't leave hungry! Will definitely be back.
Burgers were exceptional! Onion rings are hand breaded, fries are real cut potatoes, hush puppies are best I have ever had. Highly recommended. Will be visiting again! Andrew is a great employee, very friendly and high energy.
First time here. Everyone liked it including the kids. Kids had burgers and didn't complain so I know they were good. My wife had the shrimp poboy. I thought I ordered the fried shrimp poboy but got the fish poboy. The receipt said fish so I probably said fish. They were willing to make me another one at no extra cost but I declined. The fish actually good. I had to take some fish off because it was nearly too much for a sandwich. Fries were good. We probably should have shared two orders for four people. So yeah, thumbs up.
Spacious, clean, friendly people. The food was good; my brother rated the burger excellent. Plenty of parking. Prices reasonable.
Shrimp skewers were great!Added surprise was the grilled veggies on the skewers. Gumbo was tasty as was the greens, and the black beans & rice. Service was attentive and the place was super clean. Easy off and on from I-20. Will be back!
I went there the other day, at first the experience wasn’t great but then I saw one of the cooks named Kurtis with his sexy smile, body and personality and he completely made my trip worthwhile! Love that guy! He needs a raise!
Food is always good. Employees are always friendly. If you go on a Sunday, go early or later....seating gets scarce right after church.
