Our experience here started a little rocky because they forgot they seated guest outside (we were the first) but after we got their attention our server apologized and from there service was exceptional.The food was great with very generous portions. Would definitely recommend.
First off let's start with fact that we made reservations for this place three weeks prior but, get a voice mail saying that had to cancel our reservation two days before graduation dinner! Strike one! So next after ceremony decided to go anyway. Parking lot empty so I go in tell hostess need table for 15 to 20 people. Went to check returns asked if we wanted to be seated outside.(no 100 degree heat) Then tells me can't be seated until a least 6 or more show up. There was 5 standing in front of her at the time. Anyway we are seated waitress is a little unfriendly, she needs to be trained again or just used to bust tables. Anyway I order the salmon yes I figured they couldn't mess up fish. I saw so of the other dishes they brought out and I was not impressed and I was wrong about the salmon it was burned on both sides. Needless to say I want be returning glad my son want have to return either. If I could give a zero ? that's what I would give.
Had 1 time where to go wasn't perfect of like 25 visits. So not enough to be any concern, and still 5 stars. Edit: just now really great! To go order for me even though closed at 10. Very nice and courteous. Most restaurants would have said they were closed if I got there so late. So I want to say we have had excellent meals and service here many many times now!!!
They advertise that they do WAITR but fail each time. Put my order in 40 minutes ahead of time and then got an alert that it was ready. When I got to the restaurant, it had not even been put in to the kitchen. They wouldn't let me cancel the order either. Waitress gave nothing but excuses and how it was not her fault. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Spoke with the manager and she promised to make improvements. I will change the review if I see improvement in these service problems.

We greatly enjoyed our food and 2 for 1 margaritas! They even have peach-flavored margs, which is obviously perfect for Ruston.
I always get tasty, hot food when I eat here. The interior is beautifully decorated with hand-painted murals and stonework and lights. The wait staff is always nice, and usually timely with any requests.
Wow. There were so many items to choose from on the menu. I ended up ordering the Javi's Special. I did not realize it was. Meant for two people. The plate had ribs, sliced steak, chicken, and shrimp. Amazing. I will definitely be back..
Yes this place has good food but last night they forgot all the fajitas in our order gave us chips and dip when we notice we called them they said the kitchen was closed and to come back today to get the fajitas we already paid for the night before. What kinda establishment is this! Please check up on this complaint this was one of the worst experiences of poor service ever
The staff was amazing! Food excellent, drinks were good. They can always get my business.
