Food was good. I really like their fish and malt vinegar. Okra and slaw were also tasty. The unsweet tea tasted bad. Possibly powered instant instead of brewed. The 5 shrimp for $1.99 were very, VERY small. Not worth the two bucks.Staff was very loud and noisy. It was like eating inside a 50 gallon drum and someone with a club banging on the side. Add the overly loud "background music" and the dinning experience was less than enjoyable. The wife said if we stop there again, it will be for takeout.But the fish was tasty.
Walked in and didn't get greeted at all, that's ok, but there was a girl at the counter straight up staring out into the distance. She only snapped out of it when someone went through the drive through. There were workers and what I assume was a manager were sitting in the lobby being a bit loud. That didn't last too long. But after we got our order,the drive though girl had sat down on the other side of us and got really irritated that someone came through. I went to the bathroom,it stank to high heck. The food was good.......
Friendly staff, food tasted good but come on, what happened to the serving sizes? The fish were no bigger than fish sticks. Real disappointed. I took picture but dont know how to attach it to this review. A deluxe seafood platter today looks nothing like it use to or should for the price you pay.
Presentation is horrible. Fish is all broken up. Bread is tough. Fries are over-fried and dry. Plus a 30-minute wait for this.
Miss D (blonde dreads), who seemed like the manager or at least has a gifting for leadership if she isn’t the manager, was super sweet and respectful. The staff were very patient with my questions.
Expect a 10-15minute wait in the drive thru...I asked for extra tarter sauce. The drive thru lady assured me there was extra sauce in my bag but it wasn't. I only order for my clients here. Instead of debating with customers, the employees need to learn how to give them what they ask for with all the extra lip service.
The service was really good the food on the other hand was a different story. My fries were very cold and my fish was half done l couldnt eat any of it

We are traveling back to TX. Stopped here to grab a quick bite to get back on the road and it turned into an over half hour wait. I know staffing if low due to covid. If you don't have time to wait, please do not stop here.I would.like to note the food was hot and correct.
We stopped here yesterday to pick up lunch and we were thoroughly pleased. The young lady taking the order was not only patient but she had a pleasant personality and repeated our order back for accuracy. All of our meals were fresh, hot, and delicious! Their sweet tea was also very delicious. If we are ever in Ruston again we will be sure to stop here.
