We had lunch today and the food was delish!! But the MVP was our server Kayleigh! She was super nice and the perfect example of how customer service should be. You don’t get service like that often these days. Thanks Kayleigh for the best dining experience we’ve had in a while.
As always the food is just as good as I remember it to be.. The people working there are as friendly as well... I would tell anyone who likes really good Tex-Mex that u can't beat LasPalmas the food is not that high but it is alot better than Taco Bell
I got the tuna steak from here, which I have gotten many times. I picked this order up as to-go. First, my food smelled off. As I continued to eat the food, my mouth started tingling and I am now sick. I thought I was maybe having an allergic reaction, but I investigated the issue and it seems like I might have had a histamine food poisoning. This would cause the tingling in my mouth and also the redness that was left on my face for hours after eating. This would be caused from the food sitting out and not properly stored! Also, it is known that you cannot cook the histamines out of the tuna. I have never had an issue eating tuna before. I called to speak to the manager about this issue and all I received was “our food smells fine and there isn’t an issue”. I stated that I wanted this issue to be known so it doesn’t get anyone else sick. Will not be going back
Very good Mexican food for the price
They served our to-go order in a mess. The beans and salsa were dripping down the sides of the containers and the hostess did not care. The food was good, but we won’t return to this restaurant. The hostess had the audacity to ask what we wanted her to do about the mess because, “she didn’t pack it up.”
Food is tasty and they give you generous portions, but everything is SALTY! But the biggest reason for my poor rating/review is that service is often cold/borderline rude.I picked up takeout recently and the person who checked me out hardly said a word. He ring me up, slapped the receipt on the counter, and disappeared into the back without so much as a grunt. That was just plain rude. I'm not asking for a conversation, but is it that hard to be polite for, oh, 2 whole minutes?!I'm trying to support local businesses, but next time I'll choose a different Mexican restaurant, hopefully one that values my business. Mi Paddres and El Paso are definitely preferred, El Paso in particular as it's very, very good. None of them have great service, though, but this Las Palmas location is the worst for service.
I love coming to this las palmas, it’s actually something me and the in-laws do quite often. We go here for the great salsa, enchiladas, and margaritas.
Waitress couldnt remember our order brought 2 of us wrong food. Shrimp tasted like it had been frozen for too long and rubbery. The meat sauce on the enchiladas tasted like ball park hormel chili straight out a can. This place felt like it went down hard.
