We had a party of 6. We sat at the bar. Brett was our server. Our group hits a different restaurant every couple of weeks. Brett was the best of the best we have had. Food was great. We will be back!! The Graffeo’s, Smith’s and the Brown’s.

Great seafood food and service!

This was our first time eating lunch here. The service and the cleanliness was outstanding. We had the blackened gator for appetizer and it was delicious. My wife had chicken balsamic salad and it was delicious and filling. I ordered the fried oysters sensation salad and the oysters were fried perfectly and had plenty of greens plus the dressing was great. However the reason for only three stars is because when you order a fried oysters sensation salad and only get 6 oysters it is very disappointing. ( 8 or 9 oysters I could understand) The price of the salad was $18.99 and it was named fried oysters sensation salad but I felt like it was as if I ordered a sensation salad and paid a stupid amount of up charge to have fried oysters added to it. We will go back because of quality of service and taste of the food but I will ask about the quantities of seafood before ordering.

Had one of the best shrimp po-boys I've ever had on my visit here. They put some sort of a sauce on there that just made the sandwich pop. I ended up dipping everything we had in this sauce as well. We loved that they had nice big TVs around as we were able to catch some baseball while eating and catching up. Most excellent bloody mary's are to be had here. This is going to end up being a place we visit each time we visit family in town here.

Where to start? First, my guy has been trying to get me to try this place as his jobs frequently orders from the one in New Roads. My first impression was beautiful set-up, however the scenery lost its luster fast. I was vexed by the pay first order of business which asks you to leave tip, how do I know what type of tip to leave if I hadn't been served yet, but overlooked it and left a whipping 20%tip. Then I was told that we had to make and refill our own sodas and tea. I went over to the drink station and made my drink. The cups looked kinda of nasty, and I asked the lady were they clean she explained they were and that they were just tattered and torn due to use. When I sat at the table, I took a big swallow of my drink and suddenly choked. I thought it was ice but when I spit it out into a napkin it was a big chuck of somebody else's food.I was grossed out but still a little optimistic because my husband the food was great. My food arrived smelling good and all nicely plated. I did want to start eating because I was waiting for my dates food to arrive , but after about 10 or 15more minutes, we realized it wasn't coming. We had to flag down two people before any stopped. We explained that we were missing a plate of food, the cashier begin to say that we only ordered on plate. I went on to explain how my husband went into detail about his order with her and yet his entire order was missing. The manager never came over to address the situation. My food was cold and gross by the time we paid again a waited for his food to come out. I NEVER WILL BE BACK FOR AN OVER PRICED LACK OF CUSTOMER service plate of red beans again. The lost me at Hello.

I headed on over to Hot Tails in Prairieville tonight and was glad I did. Assistant GM Taylor is a young lady with an engaging personality; what my daughter would call a great "vibe". She helped me with my drink and dinner decisions all the while making me feel appreciated. Cody and Sam better treat her right because if she isn't already in high demand she will be when word gets out.I had the fried pork chop with red beans and rice. Exactly what I wanted in flavor and price. The atmosphere is a little more "sports bar" than the New Roads location but I never felt crowded or rushed. Visit sooner rather than later.

Hot tails is by far the best place to eat at , the atmosphere of this place is one of a kind , the workers are spontaneous , and the food is down right amazing and captures the real taste of Louisiana goodness . the shotgun shrimp is soo good and so is there crawfish ! Definitely the number one place in louisiana! ? ?

excellent food, friendly staff. A+

Crawfish is very good but overpriced

The hostess, Taylor, was fabulous. I thought the prices were high for what you received. 40 bucks for one soft shell crab, three oysters, three shrimp, and two catfish fillets ( You did get lots of french fries though). The place was clean and busy. The seating and ordering process is a little confusing for first timers. Again, Taylor was incredible.
