I am not from the area and called ahead to ask when or if they offered any kids specials. The lady didn't know put me on hold and checked with another team member and told me it was free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal. I asked what day it was and she said Tuesday oh today! We came all the way over here and its in fact Wednesday nights!!! They need better training because thats at least two people who did not know.
We are new to the area and love brunch. Google suggested this place. We’ve been 2 times with friends and we’ve enjoyed every visit. If your dieting, this ain’t the spot for you. Their food is soo good, there is no way you’ll leave without a full belly. Staff is friendly and no matter how busy they appear to be, they are moving so the waits aren’t bad. Once seated, our food always came out timely and fresh. Definitely a regular spot for us.
Down home atmosphere, amazing food and second to none service. The variety of savory dishes served here are nothing short of incredible. I’ve had one of the best: omelets, hamburger steaks, chicken fried steaks, seafood pasta with crab cakes, hamburgers, char grilled oysters, seafood platters, and fried catfish plates I’ve ever had. OMG can you say RANCH DRESSING, I’ll put their’s up against anywhere! BTW the grilled squash is my favorite side dish.
Been awhile since i visited either location. We were seated right away and then the waiting started. Took over 5 minutes before waitress arrived to take drink order, 5 minutes to get said drinks, then another 5-10 to take our food order.Our food arrived hot and fresh, but wasnt completely correct. We were missing an item and were charged more for it not being there.The food however made up for a lot. Wish there was a franks closer so i could eat the alligator sausage weekly.
The chicken fried steak was terrific! The meat itself was so tender. I will be back for that. Got a baked potato loaded with butter and cheese and sour cream and bacon...it was really good, too. Baked in foil, not microwaved! Had a good waitress, very sweet and helpful and it was closing time. She didn't rush us. Frank's has a newish menu. Seafood and their other things..breakfast and lunch, smoked meats. This is the one in Prairieville. It's always got a pretty full parking lot. That says alot to me!
Biscuits are great. Other food is pretty standard. Friendly service and a little shop in the front with local decor and such for sale.
Crawfish etouffee was just OK but their cat fish was AMAZING! The grilled squash was excellent also. I look forward to trying other things on their menu but I'll have a hard time not just ordering the cat fish. It's some of the best I've ever had.
