So many good things to say! 1) STAFF were wonderful and kind, 2) the food was incredibly tasty, 3) it was great service, 4) and … we came back twice during our trip! Shout out to Marcus for being a great influence and server. And, shout out to Lee for the delicious food!
Wow authentic Chinese food in downtown New Orleans who would imagine? Absolutely the best wonton soup I’ve had in Louisiana. The service was great and the atmosphere was impressive. If you haven’t eaten at Zang Bistro what are you waiting for?
Not really “authentic” Chinese food but the best American Chinese I ever got. I got sweet-sour chicken and it was perfect. Smallish chicken fingers with a special something in the batter, not oily tasting logs. Served on a big batch of super fresh peppers, pineapple, carrots and more for a dish that was really tasty but also… well… pretty. My wife’s tofu dish was cooked perfectly and she loved it. The boss was very hands on managing but found time to swap a few words in Chinese with my wife. The server was exactly attentive enough and genuine. I really felt like they all cared. Spotless, stylish place too. It’s a little hard to find, way way down on Decatur but we’ll worth the walk. Not too pricy either. Go there.
Has absolutely the best Asian food I have had in Orleans. Shrimp wonton was incredible and flavorful. They have lots of specialty cocktails that I enjoyed. They also have a hot sake machine that is very useful. Equipped with an excellent staff that was extremely friendly and actually told you their opinions of what food they enjoyed most. Lilly was incredible and sweet she really seems to know her stuff and is proud to serve with a smile. Can't wait to go back and try the recommendation of the Peeking Duck from what I have heard the chef does it better then anyone.
Food is great. I enjoyed the shrimp walnut . My wife got shrimp wonton soup and it had so much flavor on just the broth. The atmosphere was great to sit even though we got it to go. Definitely a place i would recommend
Great place for vegetarians in NO. French quarter and the surroundings lack restaurants with too many vegetarian or vegan options, this place was an oasis! Their Thai hot is blazing hot, but delicious. Nice big space with prompt & friendly service by Nettie.
We absolutely loved it. Got the green curry with shrimp and the hot wok with steak. You choose your protein and spice level. Also the cocktails are incredible! They bring out a wok with fire underneath to keep it hot with the hot wok dish!
Nice crispy spring rolls (they call them egg rolls). Very nice Peking Duck sampler. Will get the full thing next timeThe BBQ Shrimp Thai Style was very flavorful. Nothing BBQ about it but the Curry sauce was excellent. The shrimp was fried which was unexpected and unnecessary, but even weirder was that the shrimp had tails and half the head left on which made it really flavorful but hard to eat with a knife and fork. Only 3 pieces of baby bok choy. Would have liked a lot more since the shrimp was so generous
Peking Duck plus sticky rice with mango for dessert. It was authentic and delicious! This was an absolute amazing surprise to find in the heart of the French Quarter!
Excellent, authentic Chinese Thai fusion. Service was great and friendly. Wonderful atmosphere. Would recommend and go back.
