For the food itself, the fried chicken is really good. Very similar to a Raising Cane’s, but super juicy, fresh, and crunchy. I enjoyed their tenders.The fries are a must as well. Definitely get their house sauce which is just like a Cane’s sauce as well!This place also has great alcoholic beverages if you want that. It’s a family friendly establishment, so come here if you’re wanting some good fried chicken down here in Nola.NOTE: Their online prices are lower than actual prices in store. Everything is about $2 more than their website menu.
Enjoyed the experience and the food. A little pricey for 6 wings but they were fried to perfection. Cheese pizza was tasty too. Had the hurricane daiquiri and it was pretty good. Loved the music and the overall vibe.
The chicken was good, it was hot and crispy, those biscuits ?? YES! I could eat a whole box of those by themselves!The drinks are good too.? The service was friendly and super fast!
This was one of the few places near the Sheraton that was open after 10 pm on a weeknight recently. The catfish was very good, and they have a nice selection of beer and frozen daiquiris that can be carried out.
You can’t go to New Orleans without eating at a Willies Chicken Shack. We ate at all 3 on Bourbon street, Canal Street and Frenchmen. Each experience was great! The food was hot and fresh. The most impressive thing was the friendly employees. We had a large group of 25 in a bachelorette party. Our group just walked in and took up the entire restaurant. The young man behind the counter was the most polite and friendly throughout the hour that we invaded the restaurant. The same friendly staff greeted us at the other locations which was later on at night even though we were giggle and a bit intoxicated. Thank you for the experience. New Orleans! My favorite place of all to visit!
It's really good, I got 3 tenders and 4 white chickens for $30. Three people finished all chickens after $300 Luke, lol. I am not saying Luke is bad, I am saying that Willie chickens will give you same joy as Luke. For less money.
My wife was craving for fried chicken she ask me to look at my Yelp to from a good fried chicken joint near by. Then my wife told there's a chicken joint near by called Willie's chicken shack then I check on my Yelp are far from the hotel to restaurant it's just a block away. We walk from the hotel to the restaurant just a block away when we got the restaurant was full of people inside the restaurant. One of the staff ask us we like to order we say yes we both order two piece of chicken a piece of breast and a wing with fries and also comes with butter biscuits in the meal, then we order our drinks separately.We sat back of the of the restaurant and waited they bring out meal. Someone came to bring our meal,our meal were in the Box but we can smell the chicken it looks so good. My wife went to front get some catchup and hot sauce they have Crystal hot sauce better than Tabasco hot sauce. I took a bite of the chicken it so good the coat was season well then add some crystal hot sauce to the chicken it add more flavor to the chicken I really enjoy. The butter biscuits was so good my wife enjoy the biscuits and the chicken.
Excellent customer service, top tier food and drinks! Will definitely be back before my trip ends. Chicken A1 & those biscuits lawddddd we went back and ordered a box more ?. Ask for Kelly she’s great & the willie sauce even better! 10/10
Most of they menu items were unavailable. Drink cups had holes in them but the cashier did replace them with no hassle. Shrimp, gumbo, and jambalaya are on the menu but the restaurant states that is only online and not offered there.Chicken and fish are good. Would recommend, but they need to add sides.
Friendly staff, good flavor. I paid almost $50 dlls for 2 combos and 2 drinks. Overall it was good but i think it was overpriced.
