Wetlands Sake is the first sake experience that I know of comparable to your traditional, local brewery. Their sake is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I will be picking up their cans of sake when I see them at a distributor near me. As for the place, its a very unique experience I can see replicating on my future trips to New Orleans.
Enjoyed trying the creative Sake cocktails they have created. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff and even pet friendly. They have filtered and unfiltered saké as well as saké cocktails. Definitely try the flight of sakes.
The place itself seemed modern and relaxed, and the bartender was very friendly with a great sense of humor. The sake itself was very good. I'm no expert, but both the filtered and unfiltered regular sakes were slightly sweet with good flavors. I wish they had a little more merchandise, but I hope they do really well for themselves.
Fantastic place with wonderful staff! Various and unique saké flavors / combinations to try. Slightly outside the normal circuit for N.O., but WELL worth the short trip. Next time I'm in the area I will DEFINITELY return. Super chill atmosphere and everyone working there is exceptionally friendly and informative!
We had an excellent experience for our Sunday Funday! Absolutely love this place. Comfortable atmosphere, the bartender was friendly and and very attentive, and the drinks were amazing! Definitely try the blueberry sake! Commissary, next door, had some great food as well. The brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had! Will definitely be back!

The cutest spot with indoor and outdoor seating and incredibly friendly staff! I didn’t know sake could be so delicious and their unique and locally sourced in house brews are a gem you rarely find! Try the flight to taste all of the flavors. Full food menu offered from their sister grocery next door.
We got the “Flight” and Jim brought it to us. He was totally amazing and super attentive. He was the absolute best. He explained to us the history of sake and the process that goes into making just one drink. So many unique ones to try out. Overall, a great experience and sake. We will be returning soon!

A really unique place. Having sake outside from Japan for a long time is really nice. Service was great and also the cocktails. Just the taste of the sake is still a bit behind the one in Japan but already good. Love to come back again some day.
