Was looking for a place for a quick bite. Service was fast and the chicken wrap surpassed my expectations— it was grilled and served warm — woah so delish. A lady on her way out spotted me going to town on it and commented, “Whatever that was it must’ve been good!” It was really good. I scarfed it down.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place. A great stop if your getting ready for the night or headed in. Food is made super fresh. During both of my visits my plate was piping hot. I really enjoyed the Wuzzam on both my shrimp and fries even though I over did it lol.

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to take any photos because this was right before the Endymion parade and I was ready to chew my arm off I was so hungry. We got the fried shrimp with fries and the sweet Thai chili wings. The wings were large and fried well, great flavor to the sauce. I'd eat these again 7 days a week. The fried shrimp had great flavor but the portion was kind of small for the price. Steak Fries were also cooked and seasoned properly. I'd go back and try some more wing sauces for sure.

So I rolled into We Dats after a concert and towards the end of a Mardi Gras Parade. It was my first time there so I asked the gentleman at the register what sauce he recommended for my tenders. Without hesitation he said the “WUZZAM” sauce and to get the ranch fries to go with them.Quick side note, If you don’t know anything about NOLA, when you go into a local restaurant, get what they recommend, you will never go wrong.Fantastic food, hit the spot, the place was extremely busy and the folks there were working hard to get the food out, but not at the expense of rushing the food. The tenders and fries were piping hot and delicious. The tenders were made from real chicken breasts and were prepared perfectly. To me the “WUZZAM” sauce tasted like some combination of Buffalo sauce (maybe Franks Red Hot) sprinkled with some magical Nawlin’s voodoo spices, the combo was astounding and matched the Ranch fries to a tee.The prices were good, usually downtown you are going to pay quite a bit more for food, but I suspect they are able to offset their prices because they do so much business. They also give a military/first responder discount. In my opinion this was waaaay better than any big chain chicken restaurant. Give ‘em a try, I think you will be pleased.Last note, they had a bunch of other sauces to choose from, wings, and a nice selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Visited NOLA for 5 days and ended up door dashing We Dat's Wuzzam Wings! They were so good I had to go into the store and get them the next day! Great sauce, good service, and some of the best wing's I have ever had!

I had the lemon pepper and wuzzam wings with the ranch fries and whew lord??..I’m coming back ??‼️ also they’re really nice people.

This was our first time ordering from We Dat but it will not be the last. Everything looked and tasted amazing. The food was hot and fresh, the flavors were unique, and you could taste the care that went into the preparation. We will certainly back!

We dined in around 7PM. Our order took like 20-25 minutes, far too long for just some fried food. Everyone except one other person was just picking up to go orders. Some older guy came in and asked to use my phone to yell at his mom about some car deal that he didn't want to miss out on or something. He seemed nice enough, just in a bad situation, but it's that kind of place.I ordered a shrimp wrap, which was spicy and tasty. My friend ordered chicken tenders, which were tougher than any chicken I've ever had before. I don't even know where they found chicken like that. I've had chicken with kind of strange textures before, but never anything that difficult to eat. We didn't ask them to recook it figuring we would end up waiting another 20 minutes and get the same, but maybe not. Who knows.

The wuzzam wings were so good. I never write reviews for food places but these are the best wings I’ve had in a while. The restaurant is very clean and there was no wait because I came at 11:30 am. I’m not sure why the reviews are mixed because the customer service was great as well. The wuzzam sauce is a mixture of Buffalo and lemon pepper and everything is reasonably priced. I came with my best friend and she loved the wings too. Definitely coming back here when I return to New Orleans.
