Great food and service. I came right before close so they had ran out of a few things. But overall great experience will be back

I live on the west bank of New Orleans, so for me to drive to the east for 2 Sistas in Da East is big. However the service stinks. The sista that receives you, takes the orders, and the cash needs a lesson in how to treat customers. She is not friendly. Very direct which comes off as being rude and saying I don't want to bothered with you. The food has always been bland even when the restaurant was located at the original location. I can live with that. I can't live with being talked to like my money aian't sh...Also, for a restaurant that say they open at a certain time, the food is never ready. If you call the restaurant at 4:30 in the evening, they are already preparing to leave for the day. You say you close at 5:00 p.m. Y'all don't want to work. All you doing is just making a little bit to get by. While you doing that, you loosing long time customers.

Amazing soul food! I had turkey necks, shrimp with okra, and barbecue chicken. The turkey necks were my favorite, they were smothered in a roux-like gravy. We also bought a candy apple and it was delicious, nostalgically delicious! It was a friendly atmosphere and as we were waiting for our food we chatted with some local residents. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I’m so shocked at the other reviews that was not satisfied. This place is under rated. They can have my money any day. I ate here this is my third time and every meal was amazing. The staff are so nice and friendly. Makes u feel like you are their sister too. Food hot and steaming best southern food in New Orleans. In my life actually. My dad took me here slot as a teenager now I’m 30 and would recommend this place to anyone looking for real authentic soul food. Portions are over the top and I get to have left overs each time we’ll worth the money. Try them
This place get 100 Stars in my book!! Some of the best soulfood I ever had!! The chitterlings was absolutely great! The gumbo, the greens, the Mac & Cheese, sweet potatoes and all the rest was very good!! Came on Wednesday and had to come back again before I cat h my flight out!! GREAT EATING!!
Food was bland and overall was not a good experience. Turkey necks were dry. I paid for a side of sweet potatoes and got a spoonful instead. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
Very taste food. The people who work there are very nice. The best soul food in the CITY hands dowm. I Recommend this place highly. Would give 10 stars if I could
