Although the area outside of the restaurant is dirty, I fell in love right when I entered the restaurant. I had a yummy hatchery sandwich, cappuccino and fresh orange juice. The music and relaxing and the decor was inspiring. The servers were attentive. Ill definitely come back!!
This restauant is off Diamond Street, near the convention Center. It is a small place so it can fill up quickly. I had a turkey fig sandwich, which came with a small salad. It was great! Portion size was moderate, not more food than you could eat but definitely enough. Iced tea was also good. Staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. Worth a visit, if the lines are not too long.
Nice friendly place with good food and huge portions. I had a crab omelette which was great. My only qualm would be the service was a little lacking, I think they were a little understaffed
We visited the second location (920 Gravier St) for breakfast/ lunch. There was a line and we were told 45 min but surprisingly it took around 20. Place is not big but is being run efficiently. Good sign - food is not stale and “moves”. Considering that we needed to fit into clothing later on tonight for a wedding we opted for light versions. - eggwich “belt” - bacon, egg, fresh kale, tomato, mayo on corn dusted jalapeño toast. Nothing “light” about it - and I am referring to size and weight (not ingredients). Tasty with an interesting twist on jalapeño toast. I don’t particularly care for kale and it’s only because I am tired of chewing it ?. I would have went with salad leaves. But then again it supposed to be healthier - eggwich “hatchery” - egg, sautéed spinach, tomato, mushrooms, goat cheese on croissant. This was definitely a smaller size. This became my “out of comfort choice”. Let me explain: first I thought it had protein in it like bacon or sausage. And no, eggs don’t count for me at least. So that was a disappointing long dig through the sandwich trying to find meat ?. Second, as usual I decided to go for eggs “over easy” take a guess how that sandwich looked ?. Thirdly, hate sautéed spinach. Now you’ll say - why did you ever order it “knucklehead” - I told you I need to fit into suit later on tonight ( not that this one meal will actually help, but the boy can dream). BUT despite all of the above - it was very tasty, albeit mushy. I am proud to announce that I ate it all and even used some grits to clean the plate even more. - grits - nice and creamy. Can’t go wrong with any choice above. Especially if you need some substance after a night in the French Quarter (let’s just leave it at that?)
Well it was a mixed experience. I first ordered the fresh squeezed oj with no ice She brought it with ice so had to go back. My gf ordered mixed vegetables and told her which ones. They added peppers which she does not like and did not ask for. I had the French toast with rum maple syrup. But sad to say they used the fake maple syrup. I only like real maple syrup. So they were busy and had lots of servers and a line when we left. I would say it is average Next time I would get an omelet. I did like that they asked me if I liked my bacon crispy or regular. I got crispy
Ordered salad for takeout. They didn’t put any utensils in the box. Shall I eat it with my hands ? Now I have to walk 15 minutes back.
Absolutely delicious breakfast. Exceptional service. You won’t be disappointed. We were at the Fulton garage location.
Very good little breakfast and brunch place. Friendly staff and near French Quarters and Canal Street. Fair prices and nice atmosphere.good food
When we arrived there was a line down the street. We put our name on the list and waited in line. The line moved quickly and after a 15 minute wait, we had an amazing breakfast! All the portions were large! The service was top notch and the food worth the short wait.
The food and staff were excellent. If you are there on a busy weekend there may be lines waiting for tables
