I was in the store today about 1:45 the lady behind the counte,(with a long wig, and eyelashes),was very rude. If she asked me what I wanted to order, I did not herbecause she was wiping the counter and moving back to allow another lady to fill the red bean tray. I thought that she was waiting and o respectfully understood that. There was no one else staying there. If she said something it was very low, she was looking down at the floor and not looking at the customer. Another customer came up and very softly asked him what he wanted. She looked at me as though to say why am I (me) looking at her in a very disturbing way. She said,, I asked you what u wanted and I told herthat I didn't hear her ask me anything especially with her head down and never looking up at me, I hestently gave my order ( srimp & fish plate), she than laughed and turned looking at the lady at the frying station and they both thought it (I) was very funny. I, my family and friends do a lot of shopping there especially food orders. I didn't appreciate!!smiled at each other I didn't appreciate it lots of business there I will tell my family not to come there and my friend when customers are there they should be acknowledged with and eye contact don't have to have a smile or hello but if you're going to ask somebody what they need you should hold your head up speak loud and look at them I didn't appreciate it and I will pass this on to my family and friends
Usually this is my favorite go-to spot however today the triangle deli has gotten the LAST of my $$!!! Found a long piece of hair in my macaroni & cheese... 40$ for three plates, you'd think they'd wear hairnets however I GUESS NOT.. #DISGUSTING
We are visiting from Central Illinois and had looked up hidden gems on tiktok for New Orleans. Came across the deli and am SO glad we stopped.(The food didn't even make it to the hotel, we ate in the McDonald's parking lot behind the gas station) The food and staff were wonderful and we will definitely be going back before we head back North!
I assumed by the long lines that the food would be amazing but it was just okay. I ordered a roast beef po'boy and mac & cheese. The po'boy was dry. The mac & cheese wasn't very flavorable.
This place is a must go to spot if your in town. The food was fresh and hot and the service was quick and great. I would definitely recommend stopping by this spot!
Love the food here… The food was really good nicely seasoned and they really pack the plate. My plate was $13 and I could eat off this plate for two days because of how much they give you. I would definitely recommend eating here.
I've had several of the hot lunch plates and they were quite good and satisfying.However today I got the 12" Roast Beef "Overstuffed" Po-Boy. It was certainly not overstuffed and wasn't even regular stuffed. It had the thinnest layer of thin cut roast beef, barely a leaf of lettuce, and not a single slice of tomato. Really the most sad, pathetic excuse for a po-boy that I've seen yet. Basically just a smooshed loaf with a lot of mayo. Truly heartbreaking. ?
Hard rubbery liver and undercooked grits...use to be my favorite breakfast..now it's consistently nasty..
Definitely Would Recommend! Cheap SOUTHERN COOKIN.. Potato SALAD Was The BEST I had n a long time!
